I’d barely closed my eyes for up to two seconds when I suddenly heard heavy thumps pounding on my door. I mumbled angrily under my breath as I threw off my blanket and got up. What was so urgent that it couldn’t wait till morning?
I pulled the door open with a frown, ready to show my displeasure to whoever was on the other side but my anger cooled immediately I saw the person standing at the door.
