“What?” Get me pregnant? Was this a joke? I searched his face carefully, there wasn’t even a hint of a smile on his lips. “You’re serious.” I whispered.
He paced the room while running his fingers through his hair. “One of the other Alpha Kings is coming here. We need to get you pregnant before then.”
“What does it have to do with me if he comes here or not?” I asked carefully, I still didn’t understand why I needed to get pregnant just because an Alpha King was coming.
