“No.” My voice sounded lost, desperate. “No.”
With the realization that I loved him came a fear so intense that it almost wrecked me. My stomach turned and coiled inside like it was trying to force its way out of my body.
I couldn’t…I couldn’t love him. Not with this strange power and strange seal that currently lay dormant within me.
I started to see black spots at the corners of my eyes. What if I hurt him?
