Thanks to Cassandra’s confession, we finally managed to find out the headquarters of the rogues who had attacked us, within a few days.
They’d been camping out in an abandoned school building.
Unfortunately, it had long been vacated by the time our teams got there.
The head of the investigation teams believed they must have cleared out after their attack on us failed. It was either that, or the whole group had been wiped out.
Which was unlikely considering the size of the place and the lack of any bodies laying around.
They’d also tried their best to remove any traces of them being there, but the investigation teams still ended up discovering some things. Although, none of those things ended up being enough information to track them on.
