The Orphanage
It was a cold night when the great war finally ended, the city of Greengrass was destroyed and only the ashes of a happy place with smiling people remained at the survivals mind. In the middle of a pile of charred woods there was a low cry, a woman removed the woods and came across of a little girl with black hair like the night and pale skin like the snow, she grabbed the child in your arms and looked at the small face, when the girl opened her eyes, the woman got scared, she had vivid yellow eyes. She was so amazed and scared about the child that she decided to take the child to the orphanage where she worked.
When she arrived at the Orphanage, she ran to the headmaster office and put the child on the desk asking to the headmaster what would they do to the child. The headmaster looked at the little girl, and when she saw her eyes she decided that they would take care of her.
- Take her to a room of her own, no roommates. - ordered the headmaster. The woman looked at her and asked why. - Ms. Avery, just do as I say. - answered sharply the headmaster.
- Yes, headmaster. - said Ms. Avery and took the child on her arms and walked out the room.
Ms. Avery decided to put the child on a room on the top floor of the house and said to all the childs of the orphanage to not go there or they would be grounded.
It was almost midnight when the headmaster walked to the top floor at the child's room, it was very windy that night that the window opened when she arrived. When she was about to close the window, she saw a raven on the tree staring at her with dark and shiny eyes and the moon was so bright and full that illuminated the whole room. She closed the window and walked next to the baby crib and looked at the child, when she noticed that the child was looking at her, she smiled and said.
- Your name, my dear, is Selene of Green, and you will be the greatest witch that this world has ever seen.
