*LUCY*
On opening my eyes, everything looked hazy at first. My ears were ringing non stop and my head was banging like a football match was being played inside of it. I attempted to get up from the bed that I was in but I found it quite difficult and layed back down on the bed.
“Rita!” I cried out in a low tone. “Babes!” I said again. Suddenly, a flash of what had happened the other night crossed my mind. I quickly sat up in a hurry to check if it had all been a dream. As I opened my eyes the second time, I finally got hold of my reality. Some parts of my hands and legs were sore with bruises and blisters all over. I realized that I was no longer putting on the clothes that I had worn to work the other day. I grabbed my chest in an attempt to shield my boobs after I remembered what one of those bastards had done. I felt a sharp pain on my chest afterwards. “Could this be heaven?” I wonder. I took my eyes off of my body for a moment to observe my surroundings. I saw myself in one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever come across in person in my life. This is a kind of room that I had only ever seen in movies. Not only was it beautiful, it was equally massive.
My episode of admiration of the room got cut short when a flash of what had happened the other night once again crossed my mind and I gripped myself even more in fear. I wondered if I was still being held hostage by those men who had attempted to kidnap me or whether I was saved by an angel and then brought to this palace. I could only remember falling unconscious after the vehicle of my kidnappers was hit by another vehicle and the sound of gunshots being heard echoing before I lost consciousness. I concluded that I must have been saved and then brought to this fortress by my savior. I came up with the hypothesis of a person who attempted to take advantage of me and who even went as far as beating the crap out of me not being able to possibly put me in such a room and take such good care of my injuries. So I stood up from the bed after a few minutes of contemplating. I felt dizzy and immediately fell back on the bed. I took a few deep breaths and then stood up again with my eyes closed this time. I stood on a spot for a while as I tried to overcome the episode of orthostatic hypotension that I was currently in. After a few seconds, I was fully back to my senses and had a bit of strength to walk into the bathroom. My reflection on the glass walls of the bathroom made me see my current state in full. I had bruises and injuries all over my face as well. I refused to pay too much attention to the injuries and just take my bath.
After a proper wash up, I stepped out with the clothes that they had initially put on me being held in my hand. I put on those same clothes again as I didn't have any other clothes to wear. Afterwards, I walked towards the door to exit the room. To my greatest surprise, the door was locked. I looked around to try and find a key but I found none. I tried to force the door open but it was some kind of modern security door or something. Once again, it was like a door that I believe could only be seen in movies before now. In my state of panic, I began to tremble and once again feel dizzy. I reached for a wall in the room to try and get my balance.
Suddenly, the door opened from the other side and a lady came in and pulled me up. She assisted me to the bed. Afterwards, she ran out of the room and came running back in after a few minutes with a tray in her hand. It was like she knew what my mind was in need of at that moment.
Without giving it a second thought, I began to feast on the food she had placed on the tray the moment she unveiled it. I honestly didn't need her inviting me to eat and this was seen in the way I devoured the food right after she beckoned on me to eat; but I just had to allow a bit of courtesy and wait for her to call me to eat. It got to a point that I almost choked on the food due to how I hurriedly ate it. It was after I had taken my first few gulps of water that I remembered that I was supposed to tell her thank you. I did what needed to be done and thanked her for the food. Afterwards, I continued to feast on my food. But this time, I was more gentle.
“How many hours have I been unconscious?” I asked her. “You were unconscious for almost a week you see?” She replied. These words rang in my mind like an alarm clock on repeat. It was at this moment that I realized that there was a digital alarm clock by the side of the bed. And on looking at it, she was totally correct. If the details on that c**k was correct, then I was out for six whole days. My mom must be super worried by now. I immediately lost my appetite and quickly hurried out of the room forgetting to thank her for the food once again as I normally do to my mom after I finished eating. Although I could not run really well, I still tried to move as fast as I could. She ran following me from behind screaming the words “ma'am” and “young lady” non stop in an attempt to draw my attention. I ran down the stairs in a hurry and made my way for anything that looked like a door that may help me exit this palace of a house. After running in circles for a few minutes, I finally came face to face with the woman that had initially given me food in the room.
“Please, how do I get out of here? I need to go see my mom, she must be dead in worries ma'am” I said.
“Look, have your seat” she said, directing me towards a chair in one of the corridors in the house.
“Are you mad?” I screamed in rage.
“I am asking you to show me the way out of this trap of a thing that you call a house and you are telling me to have a seat! How do I f*****g get out of this s**t hole?” I screamed again.
“If you would just have your seat for a…” she tried saying when I cut her shut screaming; “you know what, f**k you!” I screamed as I turned to walk away from her when I impacted someone and we both fell on the ground.
