I arrived at my meeting with Elio Guinot at the agreed time at his office. It took me a bit of effort to secure the meeting, but thanks to Adauco's father's friend, I was able to arrange it.
"Good afternoon, I have an appointment with Mr. Elio Guinot," I greeted the receptionist who was at the entrance of the building.
"Good afternoon, you must be Mr. Joshua Chevalier," the woman said, picking up the telephone and dialing a number.
"That's right," I confirmed.
She exchanged a few words, announcing my arrival.
"This way, Mr. Chevalier. Mr. Guinot is waiting for you in his office on the twentieth floor. Mariana, his assistant, will meet you at the elevator," she called the elevator for me. The metal doors opened, and I thanked her. "Welcome, Mr. Chevalier."
