---🌙 THE LAZY VILLAIN WHO REFUSED TO DIE: Reborn as the Doomed Dark MagicianElion Vaelor was born to be a legend.A prodigy.A genius magician capable of controlling darkness itself. But legends don’t always shine—they burn. And Elion’s fate was already carved into stone long before he drew his first breath. The world called him “The Dark Star.”A cursed child marked by a prophecy:“When the Dark Star rises, calamity shall follow.Empires shall fall, and light shall answer with the blade.”In the original story, this prophecy made people fear him.Fear became hatred.Hatred became chaos.Chaos turned him into the villain the world expected. And finally—he died.Executed publicly in the capital square, under the cold judgment of thousands. His last breath stolen by the hero chosen by fate. His dreams shattered. His name etched forever in history as a monster. That should have been the end.But fate, it seems, enjoys irony.Because on another world, in another timeline, a completely normal boy—an average student with average luck and below-average survival instincts—died in the most humiliating way imaginable:a ceiling fan fell on him.He didn’t expect an afterlife. He didn’t expect magic. He didn’t expect reincarnation. He DEFINITELY didn’t expect to wake up in the body of the most doomed villain in the universe. When his eyes opened again, he was in a luxurious mansion. In a different world. In a different body.In a story he once read.He was Elion Vaelor. The villain. The future tyrant. The boy destined to die young. The genius who destroys everything. The monster everyone fears.Except—he’s not that Elion. He’s just a terrified, sarcastic, tea-loving guy from Earth who wants NOTHING to do with plots, prophecies, destinies, or angry heroes waving holy swords. He knows the future. He knows every event leading to Elion’s downfall. He knows every rival, every betrayal, every trap, every dark temptation that transforms him into the villain. And he has only one goal:“Avoid death. Avoid drama. Avoid EVERYTHING.”Simple, right?Wrong.Within hours of waking up, the universe said, “Nope.”Because the first thing that happened was:His villain mark awakened.Four years earlier than it should have.In front of witnesses.A glowing dark seal appeared on his right hand, pulsing like fate itself had placed a tracking device on him.Servants panicked. His father, the terrifying Duke Vaelor, nearly dropped his sword. And Elion screamed louder than any villain in history.Things only got worse. An explosion shook the estate.Holy light burst through the hall. And the hero—the golden boy of destiny, Cael Arclight—arrived YEARS earlier than the original timeline. He pointed his sword at Elion and declared:“I’ve finally found you.”Found me for WHAT?!I haven’t even had breakfast yet! From that moment on, Elion’s peaceful second life became a survival challenge. The hero insisted on monitoring him.The Duke insisted on training him.The prophecy insisted on activating. The world insisted he was the villain.Meanwhile, Elion insisted he was tired. But despite his desperate attempts to escape destiny, chaos followed him like a loyal dog.At the Royal Magic Academy, where the hero forced him to enroll, Elion tried to blend in.He really did.He tried to:✔ Keep his head down✔ Stay away from danger✔ Avoid using magic✔ Never provoke anyone✔ Never look suspicious✔ Never reveal he was from another world✔ NEVER meet the main characters of the novel✔ And absolutely NEVER activate any plot flagsBut instead…• He saved an apprentice using forbidden magic.• He accidentally impressed the professors.• His powers kept reacting on their own.• His “villain aura” terrified students.• The hero refused to leave him alone.• A mysterious cloaked figure began stalking him.• The prophecy started changing.• His presence altered the entire storyline.Worst of all?The hero—the literal chosen one destined to kill him—began to doubt the prophecy.Cael Arclight, the holy knight with golden hair and the cleanest moral compass in the kingdom, started to see something no one else did:Elion didn’t WANT power. He didn’t WANT control. He didn’t WANT destruction. He wanted naps. And pastries. And a quiet life. And maybe… just maybe… a friend. But how do you make friends when the world thinks you’re a harbinger of doom? Why does fate keep twisting no matter how hard he avoids danger? Why does his power keep growing when he doesn’t want it?Why does the hero look at him with suspicion one day, curiosity the next, and something softer the day after that? Why does the prophecy keep rewriting itself around him?And most terrifying of all—Why does it feel like something bigger, darker, and older than destiny itself is watching him…waiting for him to fail?Elion Vaelor is a villain by name, by prophecy, and by fate—But not by heart. He refuses to

CHAPTER 1 — WAKING UP AS THE DOOMED VILLAIN
I died. Yes. Me. A completely ordinary guy with average grades, average looks, and an extraordinary talent for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. And the cause of death? …A ceiling fan fell on me. Not a monster. Not a heroic sacrifice. Not even a dramatic accident worthy of a news headline. Just a ceiling fan. I didn’t even get the dignity of dying heroically. I died like a side character in a comedy skit. When I opened my eyes again—hoping for hospital lights, or at least an angel regretting her mistake—I instead saw a chandelier. A giant, sparkling, unnecessarily luxurious chandelier. “Where… the hell am I?” I whispered, blinking like my vision had respawned in Ultra HD. The room around me looked like it belonged to royalty: velvet curtains, gold-trimmed furniture, polished marble floors. Even the air smelled rich. Like… expensive soap. I sat up, and a sharp pain hit my head— followed by a sudden flood. Not water. Memories. A tidal wave of memories that were not mine. Elion Vaelor. The name slammed into me. No… no no no no— “ELION VAELOR?!” Just speaking it made my stomach drop. Because I knew that name. Silver-haired villain. Young master of the Vaelor Dukedom. A genius dark magician born under a cursed star. Someone feared by the empire. And in the original novel? A tragic villain who dies in the most humiliating public execution ever written. I stumbled to the mirror on shaky legs. Silver hair. Sharp violet eyes. A handsome, cold villain face that could cut diamonds. Yup. I knew this face. “I WAS REINCARNATED AS THIS GUY?! Why not the pet? The side uncle? A decorative tree?!” My voice cracked so badly it echoed. A soft knock came from the door. “Young master Elion? Are you… shouting?” “No.” “Yes.” Maybe. I didn’t know anymore. The servant entered, worry on her face as she looked me over. “Young master, your father requests your presence in the throne hall.” Father. Duke Vaelor. One of the empire’s most terrifying warriors. The man whose strictness pushed Elion into becoming a villain. “I don’t want to go,” I mumbled, pulling the blanket over my head. “Tell him I’m sick.” “Tell him I stopped functioning.” “Tell him I died again.” “Young master…” she sighed like she’d aged ten years. But before she could argue, the door burst open with the grace of a thunderstorm. A tall, armored man stepped in—silver armor gleaming, dark cape flowing, and a gaze sharp enough to slice bone. Duke Vaelor. His presence felt like a mountain had walked into the room. “Elion,” he said, voice deep enough to shake the windows. “We need to discuss your training.” Training. Magic training. Training that leads to the Academy. Which leads to meeting the hero. Which leads to the prophecy. Which leads to— My execution. “No,” I said, clutching the blanket. “I refuse.” “You… refuse?” His eyebrow twitched. “Your training?” “I want peace. And tea. And naps. And no involvement with fate or destiny or world destruction.” The Duke stared at me like I was speaking an ancient forbidden language. “You did not speak like this before.” “Before, I didn’t know I was a villain with an expiration date!” I stood up dramatically— And that’s when I saw it. A faint glow on my hand. I froze. The Duke froze. Even the air froze. A dark symbol burned onto the back of my hand, glowing in silver and black. The Dark Star Mark. No. No no no—THIS shouldn’t happen yet. In the original story, this mark appears four years later, at the very start of Elion’s villain arc. Not right after waking up. Not this early. The servant dropped to her knees, trembling. “T-The mark awakened early…!” The Duke’s eyes widened, and that alone told me how serious it was. “This is impossible.” The mark pulsed again— and a cold, metallic voice echoed inside my skull: Villain Route Activated. “I DIDN’T ACTIVATE ANYTHING!” I screamed. “TURN IT OFF! CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION!!” Before anyone could answer— BOOOOOOM!!! A violent explosion shook the entire estate. The chandelier rattled like it was about to fall on someone’s head— (please not mine again). Guards shouted. Servants screamed. Magic crackled through the hallways. The Duke unsheathed his sword with deadly speed. “Elion, stay behind me.” “I WANT TO STAY BEHIND ANYONE,” I said honestly. Another pulse came from the mark on my hand. A whisper echoed in my mind: Threat detected: Hero’s presence approaching. I felt my soul leave my body. The hero? Already?! But in the novel, he appears YEARS later—at the academy! So WHY— Footsteps echoed from down the hall. Slow. Steady. Radiant. Light spilled into the doorway before the figure even stepped through. A boy entered—golden hair glowing like spun sunlight, blue eyes shining with holy light, and an aura so bright it felt illegal to look at. Cael Arclight. The Hero. The future executioner of Elion Vaelor. Why was he here NOW?! I swallowed my fear. Or tried to. Cael raised his sword, pointing directly at me. “Elion Vaelor,” he said calmly, voice echoing with divine magic. “I’ve finally found you.” Finally? What do you mean FINALLY?! We weren’t supposed to meet for YEARS! I screamed. Not a dignified scream. Not a villain scream. A full, terrified, ‘my story is broken’ scream. This was NOT how my reincarnation story was supposed to go. Not according to the novel. Not according to my plan. Not according to ANY sane timeline. And that was how my second life began— As the villain who absolutely, desperately, DEFINITELY refused to die again.
