Chapter 6 Love at first sight

Amber's POV'S

It feels like a day dreaming, how quickly things change in a day from bad luck happening until the good luck comes to follow on the same day. At first i thought that God was punishing me with too much bad luck that happened in my life these past few months since i met Noah, but now i remember one thing that my nana always told me.

"Do not grief whenever you've got a problem, whatever it is and no matter how hard it is, you've got nothing to lose whenever you believe in God's presence and you're not alone, don't be angry and wondering why He gave you problems in life, just remember this whenever you losing something or someone most important to you don't be sad, because God have a better gift for you ahead, just let go what is gone is gone and pray for a better things comes to you soon trust me"

Yeah i always believe her words, today is the day where something good is finally happening after a very long time. After going through Lasik or eye laser surgery i feel so good, eye surgery is not that scary at all. I have no idea that the whole process is so fast and painless, it took only ten minutes per eye and he put a numbing eye drop for anastasia so i won't feel any pain except for the pressure. I recovered from the surgery after six hours, but the doctor said that it can take up to six months to fully recover and my vision to stabilize.

My vision is clearer now i can see the person with a beautiful heart is standing right in front of me looking so gorgeous, he's such a gentle man with a great personality, handsome face, tall and muscular body, and he's a surgeon. How perfect he is, once i recover after a few hours he comes and hands me over one box and i can tell that it is an iPhone box, when i realized that he gave it to me for free and i was so shocked.

"For me?"

"Yeah, take it"

"Why, you've done too much for me, I'm pretty sure this Lasik surgery isn't cheap"

"It's alright, you deserved it and this phone i just bought it just now, you can have it and it's my responsibility to give you a new phone after i break your phone I'm really sorry"

"O my God this is too much, i really appreciate it but i can't accept it, it's just too much you see my phone is just old android that cost two hundred bucks only, and you exchange it with the latest version of new iPhone that cost maybe around two thousand dollars i guess, but no i can't accept this thanks"

"No no it's alright just take it i insist, if you rejected i don't know what to do with it and i already bought it so please accept this thing"

I'm speechless, i can't believe that i met someone so generous like him, who did that nowadays? Most people nowadays don't even bother just to apologize but he's just too good to be true. He gave me no option but to accept the phone and his kindness.

"Thank you doctor God bless you and your kindness, i really appreciated that there are one of a million people like you in this world nowadays, I'm so grateful for meeting such a good person like you"

"No problem it's just my personality, i love helping people around me that's the reason why i became a doctor, especially people who get trouble because of my fault, i can't just let them down and not be responsible for what I've done so yeah it's really not a big deal for me"

"Thank you so much i don't know what else to say"

"It's alright don't think too much, just relax and this is my business card my number is in there so you can contact me with your new phone then i will schedule follow-up appointments to monitor your healing and ensure your recovery is progressing as expected"

"Alright doctor see you next appointment"

I left the hospital with the biggest smile and the fastest heartbeat, this was the first time I've ever felt this much of happiness after so long. But my heart feels so weird and unusual. My brain is suddenly full of his face, Doctor Ethan is so charming and makes my heart melt. it's not about his charms, it's about his kind heart and beautiful personality. I just couldn't resist this feeling to not fall in love with a person like him, he is such a gentleman. But the problem is, will he fall for me because i don't think so.

First of all he's too perfect for an ordinary girl like me and second he was older than me. And then while I saw myself in the mirror i realized that i won't be that girl who can date a person like him i mean look at me. hmmm

I was walking on the street trying to grab a cab and went to Emma's house which means there's a big chance that i will meet Noah as well since they both are siblings and live in the same house. But i have no choice because of the urge to see her and check if she was okay and also i can't wait to share what happened to me today and ask for a solution about my crush on Doctor Ethan because she is the master of romantic lover, she knows about this kind of thing better than me. So i finally got a cab and went to her house, once i reached her house i saw Noah's car park outside the house but he's not in the car and I'm pretty sure that he was inside the house, i hope that we won't bump into each other.

"Good evening Mrs Smith, i would like to meet Emma could you please send me to her room?"

Mrs Smith is not their mother, their parents never home not even once i see one of them not even at school event when all the parents of all students are invited. Mrs Smith is like their mom she's the lady who takes care of Emma and Noah since they were small, and she's also the leader of the house keeper in this house. I've been meeting her twice on Emma's birthday, it's been a long time since the first time i came here everything is completely different from the last time i came here from the furniture and design interior.

Modern emphasizes clean lines and geometric shapes. No more are features such as arches, ornate columns, window shutters, or any outlandish ornamentation. In place of these features that at one point spoke of luxury and wealth are simple shapes and intentional asymmetry. The opulence of the past is no more. Everything looks changed more up to date and fancy. Everything's so perfect and expensive, i wish that i could have this kind of house and live comfortably with nana and lucy one day. Anyway Lucy is my cat, it's my nana lost daughter name i miss them so much since i haven't come home to meet them.

"Hello Miss Amber, welcome to Griffin's House it's been a long time since the last time i see you, I'm glad to see you again and of course I'll send you to her room she's waiting for you"

We went to her room, and on the way there unexpected thing happen, something that i wish never happened is happening. I knew it there he is Noah Griffin right in front of me walking towards me and here we go again huh.
