CHAPTER 16
The next evening Sal and Micky were at the Mase house waiting for Selma and Stacy to make their appearance. Nelson was the limo’s official driver for the night. He would stay with the limo and be sure it was protected from any pranksters while waiting for the prom to be over.
Sal looked up as Selma entered the living room. He drew a deep breath and smiled as he gazed at her. “You look beautiful,” he said.
“Thank you,” answered Selma with a grin.
“Gorgeous,” whispered Micky as he gazed at Stacy, who entered behind Selma.
Both men came forward and presented their ladies with their corsages. “We just went into the flower shop and told the lady what color we wanted, and she went and found them for us,” said Sal. While tying the sea green flowers on Selma’s wrist
“Yeah,” agreed
