Sal and Micky returned a couple of hours later with a small bus. They parked the bus in the Mase driveway and went in to bring Selma and Stacy out to see it.
“Where did you find this?” asked Selma.
“I borrowed it from Avorn Acres. It is used to transport the children in Avorn Acres to school and bring them home after school,” explained Sal.
“It’s perfect,” said Stacy. “It will hold everyone easily.”
“Why does Avorn Acres have its own bus to take the children to school?” asked Selma.
“Alex wants Avorn Acres to be a safe place for children. He wants them to be able to play and ride their bikes without worrying about someone snatching them. The only way to accomplish this is to control who can enter Avorn Acres. The public- school bus could have anyone riding it. It would be
