Sal and Micky headed back to the school after stopping by the gym and getting a gym membership for Joe. They went to Principal Green’s office.
Principal Green looked up and smiled when Sal and Micky entered his office. “I didn’t expect to see you guys back here today,” he said.
“We have something we wanted you to pass on to Joe in assembly,” said Sal.
Sal handed him the card showing Joe’s lifetime membership in Avorn gym.
Principal Green looked at it in surprise. “This is very generous of Alex,” he stated.
Sal and Micky just smiled. “Alex said to be sure Joe knows he can bring a companion with him when he goes to the gym. Also, he wants Joe to know Avorn Gym is going to be putting a plaque on their wall honoring his father as a featherweight champion of the world. There wil
