CHAPTER 13 Selma was distracted in her classes. She had been thinking about the children all day. She was worried about what was going to happen to them. She hated the idea of them being sent back into foster care. They needed a home and someone to love them and let them know they were important. They were good kids. Selma sighed. She didn’t know if she and Sal could help them. They were not married, yet. They probably would not be allowed to take the children. Selma shook her head. She did not know how Sal would feel about helping the children. She would have to talk to him. This day was passing so slow.
