Panic coursed through me. I had never meant for my mate to see those messages. I knew he would never agree with me sending them, which was why I had never discussed them with him. The obvious thing to do the moment his eyes had settled upon them, was escape. Frustratingly, the only place to escape to was the en-suite, so my escape would be limited.
