Lesley’s POV
When we had finally left the palace’s gate, I looked at him with full confusion written in my face.
“What’s happening? Why did the both of us become older?” I asked.
“Maybe the heavens have given us a reward?” he said while rubbing her head.
I raised my eyebrows. “Reward for?” I asked in a serious tone. What did we do to have such a reward?
“For being too adorable?” he said out of nowhere.
I couldn’t help but to bite my lips in order to keep my lips from forming a smile. I should be angry because he had the confidence to joke amidst a serious matter like this, however, I couldn't agree more because he was indeed one of the most adorable people in this place.
