--- THE POWER OF GOD In a quiet village surrounded by mountains, lived a young man named CHUKWUEMEKA , He was known for his kindness but also for his weakness—he feared everything. Thunder frightened him, darkness troubled him, and challenges made him run away. Many in the village mocked him, saying, “CHUKWUMEKA is too weak to stand against life.” One year, a great drought struck the land. The rivers dried up, the crops withered, and hunger spread across the village. The elders tried sacrifices, the farmers dug deeper wells, but no water could be found. Fear gripped the people. One night, as CHUKWUEMEKA prayed alone under the stars, he cried, “God, I am weak, but You are strong. Show me Your power, not for me, but for this village that is perishing.” As he prayed, a strange peace filled his heart. He felt God whisper to him, “Do not fear. Go to the mountain.” Though afraid, CHUKWUEMEKA obeyed. At dawn, he climbed the mountain where no one dared to go, for wild beasts lived there. Yet as he walked, the animals moved aside, and the path cleared for him. At the mountain’s peak, CHUKWUEMEKA struck the ground with his staff in faith, and suddenly water gushed forth from the rocks, streaming down into the valley. The people rushed to the riverbed and rejoiced as life returned to the village. From that day on, CHUKWUEMEKA was no longer called weak. Instead, people said, “Truly, the power of God works through those who trust Him.” And CHUKWUEMEKA learned that real strength is not in muscle or courage of man, but in the power of the Almighty God who answers prayer. --- ✨ Moral of the story: God’s power is greater than fear, nature, and human limitation.
