A Stray Kids, Hwang Hyunjin fan fiction.

Inspired by the song; Traitor by Olivia Rodrigo

In the world of high school drama, betrayal runs deeper than just broken hearts. When Hani finds herself caught in the web of a love she thought was real, everything changes. Hyunjin, the guy she trusted, proves to be a traitor, and Hani’s once-perfect world shatters. But that’s not the end of her heartbreak.

Then there's Eunchae—manipulative, calculating, and always two steps ahead. She’ll stop at nothing to get what she wants, even if it means blackmailing Hyunjin into dating her, forcing him to choose between his darkest secrets and a life in her grip.

As the lines between love, lies, and loyalty blur, Hani must navigate a world where nothing is as it seems. Will Hyunjin’s regrets be enough to break free from Eunchae’s control, or will he fall deeper into her trap? The clock is ticking, and secrets are about to spill.

Stay tuned....

Betrayal. Revenge. Scandals. Welcome to the game.

Prologue
"I'm sorry," a small and familiar voice gasped. Hyunjin was in the middle of making out when he turned to see who it was. His eyes widened as he saw Hani. Her eyes glistened with tears, and her lips quivered, not knowing what to say. But she couldn't be there anymore; she turned to leave. "I can explain... It's not what it looks like. f**k!" Hyunjin exclaimed as the door was shut in his face when he tried to go after her. He swung his fist against the door in frustration. Why did things have to turn out this way? He turned to the brunette who approached him with what was supposed to be a comforting hug. But he wasn't up for it. "Just get off me," he groaned in frustration, his fingers making their way through the locks of his messy black hair. The brunette hesitantly pulled away, looking at him with a pout on her lips. "Jinnie, are you still thinking of her? Just forget about her. She never deserved you anyway." Meanwhile, Hani trailed out of the room, shutting it with a loud bang as the tears she held in her eyes threatened to fall... He'd been cheating, and she had known... But she had broken up with him, why did it still hurt so bad? She didn't expect them to get together within two weeks of their break up. Traitor, she thought through her gritted teeth. Tears finally broke free from the invisible barrier in her eyes, forming cascades that went down her cheeks as she tried to hold down her voice from making any crying sounds. She just let her feet carry her away from that venue. Come to think of it, this party was a whole mistake. She knew that she shouldn't have attended. The sound of people partying echoed in her ears as she struggled to pass through the crowd, making her way out of Felix's mansion. "Hani!" She heard her name being called by Felix, but instead of stopping, she hastened her steps towards the parking area to her car. Felix, confused by her reaction, still went after her, eventually cornering her by her car. "Hani, what happened?" he asked her, his eyes filled with worry and concern for her. Both his hands held her on either side of her shoulder to keep her in place. "I should've known... I shouldn't have come here, Lix. Just let me be. Good night." She removed his hands and proceeded to enter her car, before speeding off. Felix just had to put two and two together to realize what she meant. That motherfucker... As Hani drove home, she couldn't help but think about how she had always known. The signs were all there, but she had ignored them, thinking that Hyunjin would never betray her. She had been so in love with him that she had refused to see the truth. But now, the truth had hit her like a ton of bricks. And it hurt. It hurt so much that she felt like her heart was breaking into a million pieces. She had trusted Hyunjin with everything, and he had thrown it all away for a cheap thrill. She knew that she had to move on from him. She knew that she deserved better. But it was easier said than done. Her heart was shattered, and she didn't know how to put it back together...
