King Alfred who had been out of the palace to settle a dispute in one of the communities, stepped into the Lycan palace, his sharp eyes scanning the scene before him. The living room was full of servants, Elders, and the royal family. He wondered what the gathering was for but as his eyes scanned the room and landed on Scarlett who was on her knees, he immediately understood.
He had overheard some people talk about her pregnancy in the community and he immediately called his assistant who informed him of what she had done.
He sighed heavily. It wasn't what he wanted to deal with after returning from handling pack matters. Adjusting his cloak, he headed straight to Damien ignoring the curious glances thrown his way. He needed to address this matter before it went out of control.
