Their Beginning
Harry Robertson had always had a thing for Elizabeth Martin. His crush on her started from way back when they were still toddlers in kindergarten.
He couldn't help but fall for her beautiful eyes and soft girly voice that always made his defenseless little heart flatter whenever she so much as talked to him during their rare encounters at their school. And so by the time they were in third grade in primary school, Harry decided it was time for him to make her his.
The only problem with this decision was that, Harry wasn't the most confident of boys at his tiny age of 10. Infact, he was as shy as they came and so the very thought of approaching Elizabeth and telling her how he really felt about her wasn't going to be an easy task for him at all. The second problem here was that, Harry wasn't the only one who seemed affected by Elizabeth's charm. it turned out that every other boy in his class was equally as charmed as he was by her and that only made it harder for Harry to go on with his plan of acquiring beautiful Elizabeth all to himself.
But Harry was still determined to achieve his goal despite all that was in his way. he went on to spend hours in his bedroom after school coming up with various plans of how he was going to get close to her and after a lot of deliberations, he finally decided to write her a letter.
He explained everything he wanted her to know in detail in that letter and then ended with a promise that he was going to do his very best to get her chocolates everyday during break time. He hoped that the mention of chocolates was going to be enough to make Elizabeth consider the idea of being his girlfriend.
After he was done with the letter, shy Harry did his very best to master some courage and went to hide the letter in Elizabeth's backpack the very first chance he got after she left it on her desk to go to the bathroom.
He didn't wait for her to read the letter right there and then. He was way too nervous for that so he faked a terrible headache and got permission to go home earlier than the rest of his class.
And so by the time Elizabeth got back from the girls restroom, Harry was already out of class and was already halfway out of the school premises.
He only hoped that his letter was good enough to get him the girl of his dreams.
