Chapter 2- My Luna Search - Steele POV

As we drove to the Farhorn Manor I wonder what the little tarts I am to meet this evening. I am the Alpha of the Blue Heart pack and have yet to find my mate. My name is Steele and I suppose it fits I am a large man 6’4 with steel grey eyes and wavy black hair. I am 19 and my wolf Jax has been on the hunt for our mate for it seems like an eternity. I have not heard great things about the Farhorns only that the daughters are beautiful blondes and that their father Carl is desperate to find their mates hoping they would be Alphas thereby bringing him glory and power. I despise men like that, that use women for what they can gain from them. I love my mother and my dear sister Maggie and could never imagine them treated as anything less than the best.

As we pull up to the manor i feel Jax inside growling and uneasy, he senses something is wrong and he lets me know to be wary. I open the door to the sleek black Mercedes and ran my hand thru my wavy locks thinking Goddess give me strength. I see two pretty blonde girls standing in the foyer with the door wide open. As I approach the door Carl descends the stairs adjusting his shirt in his pants cursing about his state of undress. “She is gonna get it later just look at this shirt!” He exclaimed. Both girls rushed to their fathers side and the taller and prettier of the two says” oh father you look divine” patting him on the shoulder.

I could vomit with the smell of bo and alcohol that wafted from him but I strode over and shook his hand “ nice to meet you Carl, I am Steele, Alpha of the Blue Heart Pack and this is my beta Mike. Mike nods at Carl and maintains his distance with my two other pack members Nick and Brad.

Carl collects himself and shakes my hand and then grabs the prettiest daughter and says “ this is my daughter Bonnie and her sister here Bonita” as he gestures to the other girl. They are both beautiful women but my wolf Jax keeps pacing in my brain saying she’s here, our mate is here but they are not her!

Alpha Baron of the Grey Moon pack arrives with his beta and pack members and everyone is invited into the dining room which is decorated to perfection. I can smell my mate in here and I feel Jax getting more and more impatient wanting to go find her. Bonnie has taking a liking to me and has draped one perfectly manicured hand on my arm, she purrs to me” Steele I like that I would like to feel your steel if you wish”. I try to hide my disgust as she rubs my arm and guides me to the table. The food is delicious but all I can think is my mate is here somewhere and I need to find her.

I can still feel Jax going crazy in my head and I turn to my beta mindlink with him telling him my mate is here but she is not one of the girls. I don’t want to speak out loud because I do not trust Carl or his daughters for one minute. I tell Mike I need to go for a run to cool Jax off and so I head down the stairs and out the back way. I jog to the tree line and there I undress and shift into my wolf Jax is a massive black wolf and we take off running into the woods my mind racing wondering where my mate might be. I would have known if it was Bonnie or Bonita. I run for a good 10 minutes and when I return I put my clothes back on and walk towards the door. As I walk in and past the kitchen I can hear Carl stumbling towards a closet door mumbling about “ she is gonna get it hard tonight for making me look a mess in front of guests”. He slams the door open and I can smell it a faint waft of the sweetest thing I’ve ever smelt before in my life like birch wood and vanilla musk. ELANA POV

I hear father coming to my room and I and terrified of what will happen to me when I hear a voice saying “ hey girl it’s okay I’m here now, my name is Raven and I am your wolf” I remember then that it is my birthday and I have finally gotten a friend “ oh Raven I am so happy to meet you, this is going to be very scary, he is coming to hurt me” Raven says “it will be okay Elana he will not be able to hurt you for much longer”

What the f**k is going on! This disgusting leach of a man raping MY MATE! I WILL KILL HIM” I hear Jax in my head he is fighting hard to take control and if I let him this man will be ripped apart limb by limb. I can see my mate shivering and crying curled up on the bed and I slam Carl against the wall again. I punch him so hard it knocks him right out. I mindlink with Mike and tell him what has happened and to prepare the car to leave my mate will not spend another night in this hell.

“Are you okay?” I ask her and reach out to her and she inches away cowering and looking at me warily. Inside I am seething I look at Carl and want to kill him for what he has done to my mate.

“I am sorry my name is Steele, Alpha of the Blue Heart Pack and you are my mate, I have been looking for you my love” Goddess she is stunning with gleaming long black hair and hazel grey eyes that seem to look into my soul.
