Placing my hands in my pockets and gripping the box tightly, I would close my eyes and walk a little faster. “4,5,6” Turning around to face the male once more, I raised a brow” Hm, And another thing while I am away…” Blinking and not even looking at his facial expressions. “I need you to take my place here and finish what I have started until I am back” Chuckling he nodded as he took his leave. Stopping and looking around, I noticed things that I hadn't noticed before. “Sure going to miss this f*****g hellhole when I am gone” With a click of my tongue I rushed up the stairs and into my office. Sitting down, I sighed and waited for the knock that would soon come. Closing my eyes, I would begin to write on a crumpled piece of paper.
Dearest Graham
Sorry to write so soon, but I know that you are busy with the war and all of its excitement. I wish I had been there. I miss it to a point. I've been sent to the human world, for God only knows. The blade has gone missing somehow, and I don't know who has or even wanted it. Gulp is watching the place and Novalee while I am absent. I feel like I am rambling in this letter but know that I miss you so much. Things have changed in ways I don't know how to feel. I only write to let you know what's happening. Hopefully this letter gets to you soon as I wait for a response from you. Be safe Brother.
P.S
Keep an eye out, there might be some traitors around you that wish to bring harm to us elders.
With much love Sini.
Folding the letter and placing a seal on it, I would look around the office once more. “Gulp better keep things straight around here.” Just as a knock hit hard upon the door I slightly jumped at it. “Sinister Von Monroe” A voice called out to her as the door flew open and there stood a very dashing but yet ass-hole Hida. His brown hair flowed at his greedy looks he held. His toned body was masculine but held a lot of scars underneath it all. “Save the slander speech and let's get this going, I don't have all night love” I taunted, knowing that it killed him deep down that he could never go out with me the way he loathed. Stepping aside, I walked past him and down what seemed at the very moment a longer stairway. Reaching the front door. I turned to flip off Hida, he needed it to be honest with everything he has put me through in the years.
Turning to see the growing crowd behind the two very lovely and stunning women, she held her head up high as she walked down the steps. Raising a brow at the first woman, I took in all her looks and glamor.” Nikita, Don't you look lovely on this fine night.” Her looks made her more grateful than her attitude at times, but in the end, she was the queen of the Immortal night. Her hair a deep brown color and her eyes as blue as the ocean. “Sinister” Her voice was quite lovely with a ring of s****l flirtation in it. Nodding, I didn't dare to converse with her anymore. Those days are long gone. At that very moment, our eyes connected. “Sinister, are you ready? You will not be allowed back home until the blade is found and put away for once and for all.” This tone was harsher. “Yes, Queen Violet. As you command.” Violet was Queen Nikitas' sister and they both shared the crown rather than fight over it. Violet was slimmer, more hateful in her ways than Nikita. Violet had deep brown hair as well, but her eyes are what made her stand out the most with her lightly painted purple eyes.
At that moment, a light blue vortex appeared, stepping forward and taking a deep breath. I didn't care that I didn't look back. That was only a sign of weakness in my eyes. Carefully but proudly stepping through everything, there was black everywhere, but I didn't stop myself from walking. The next thing I knew, there was a faint light at the end. Walking further to it, the light grew brighter, and I covered my eyes as I walked on. Once the whole light show was over, Sinister looked around. It was an old and disgusting alleyway she ended up in. "Lovely," she stated as she looked around. Hearing a loud banging nose, a voice followed behind it. "Isn't it lovely?" A sarcastically high-pitched voice stated. With an eyebrow raised, Sinister turned to the voice and smirked. "And you are?" She stated to the female who clearly was trying way too much with her outfit. "Name is Lola", She laughed as she gave a half-ass wave.
Sinister didn't fall for it, wasn't cute and wasn't flattering, giving to what she smelled of. "Siren" Sinister boldly stated as she crossed her arms and continued to speak. "Where's the nearest, Tavern," Sinister demanded. Lola scoffed and stuck her nose in the air and flicked her green hair back. "Rude" Lola stated as she pointed down the alleyway, "Make a left and three buildings down, you will find your destination, Vampire". Sinister needed no more from this fish as she began to walk up the alleyway. Her nose burned from the new smells that hit it. Turning to the left and continuing to move forward, her burning nose just got worse. As the tavern grew close, she opened the door only to be hit with the scents that made her stomach flop.
Sinister made her way to the bar and seated herself and waited for the bartender to tend to her. Snickering and chatter was all around her as she tapped her nails on the counter. Waiting was never her thing and this was only adding to her anger. "And how can I help you my Lady?" A small little voice came from the other side of the counter. "A room to start with, Then I need a tall glass of your whiskey on the rocks" Sinister boldly stated as she just wanted to get away from the noise. With a nod, the bartender rushed to fulfill what was asked. "And what purpose does a high guard have here in this tavern and more or less the human world?" A booming voice came from behind Sinister. A smirk formed on her face as she turned around to stare at a 7ft figure. "And I can say the same about a special agent." Sinister grinned as she made eye contact. He chuckled sarcastically as he crossed his arms and looked down at her. "What do you want, Sinister? I have no time, nor do I wish to have gossip filling my tavern".
Sinister rolled her eyes with a grin. "Trust me. I don't want to be here either, I quite miss my little home". She stated "Nice little place you have here Kain", The bartender came with a set of keys and a tall whiskey and placed them next to Sinister on the counter. Kain grinned as he was amused by her. "You're welcome to stay, but beware, you've already started Rumors by just sitting in my Tavern" He stated as he moved closer and leaned down to her right ear and began to whisper "Here bloodshed isn't the answer, Lies just get you killed and looks such as yours only get you labeled a w***e" He stated as he pulled back up and walked away.
