Simply Me

* Little Ellie's POV * "Mommy! I want to go have a picnic!" I whined to my mom who was sat in front of me. I was told that we were going to meet some important people. It was raining while we were driving to these people. Mom told me to not throw a fit, since dad is driving. "Sweety, it is raining and we have stuff to do." she told me, then turned back to my father. He looked into the rearview mirror for a split second and gave me a stern look to listen. But that's when it all happened...a truck was coming towards us. We swerved out of the way but it caused us to roll into a ditch. We were upside down! I remembered my mother telling me she will always love me before I passed out.  ~a little later~ I felt like I was getting dragged by something pulling me by my sleeve. My vision was still blurry but it looked like a black wolf with a patch of silver on its chest shaped like a ..paw? I remember feeling the wolf lay down while wrapped around me but the i was out again. I opened my eyes and I was in a hospital? "M-mommy?" Just then a woman and some doctors came in. They told me I had been in a coma for a month and will leave in a week to live with the lady, they called Missy Hill, at the orphanage. I lost my parents and without knowing what to do I just became quiet and kept to myself. I really didn't play with the other kids when I got out of the hospital. _ 8 years later _ " Ellie wake up or you'll be late to get those books for the homeschooling!" I was woken up from Missy yelling from the kitchen. After getting ready I went down stairs and grabbed an apple just before I was engulfed in a hug. "Happy 16th birthday Ellie!" Missy said more excited than me. I laughed out a quick thanks, then was on my way to the library. I wanted to get there and back quick so I took the short cut in an alley that was near the forest. Just then a wave of pain came over me and forced to fall. As I was trying to get up I started to get dizzy. I held the wall for support and then looked up ahead and I could swear it was the wolf from my dreams and that saved me when I was 7, coming towards me worriedly.  Then it all went black. Waking up in an unfamiliar room made me panic. A boy maybe a few years older came and smiled when he saw me awake. "We meet again Princess" ???
