Elders

*Ellie's POV*

I was woken by my wolf Rhea telling me to check on our mate. I jumped out of of the be and hurried to the kitchen. As soon as I walked in the sight I saw was so funny I fell on the floor laughing so hard. Standing there, with flour all over himself, was my handsome mate. Jay was attempting to make pancakes for breakfast. 

He stood there with a pout looking down at my laughing fit, I was in the middle of having. He starting whining for me to help with the flour all over him. Slowly getting up, I went to him and wiped it off his face and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before turning and start making french toast.

I felt nervous in a room that was full of people I didn't know excluding Jay. I was stuck to his side and talked with this council of elders. They are the council that will help me and Jay rule when we take the throne officially. This all very new for me so I looked like a lost puppy most of the meeting. But I ran out when they started talking about my parents. It is still a sore subject and always will be. I hid in the corner of a bedroom at the end of the hall and cried my heart out. As much as I wanted the tears to stop they wouldn't. I was having a panic attack and could barely breathe until I smelt the mint and woodsy scent of my mate. 

As soon as he walked in he rushed over to my corner and hugged me into his chest. Jay was rubbing my back soothingly which helped me breathe normal again. He mumbled little phrases of 'you are okay' 'I am here for you' "I will always be here for you baby and I will never leave you, I promise" Jay lovingly kissed me. My first kiss! OMG OMG OMG!!! What do I do? Jay must've noticed me being still because he stopped.

"I- that was my first kiss and I don't know h-how to kiss." I looked down in embarrassment .He lightly brought my eyes to meet his and gave me a bright smile. "I can teach you cutie. Just follow my movements, okay?" I nodded my head and he slowly started to kiss me again. After a second I started to follow his movements and I felt like I was getting the hang of it!

After awhile Jay pulled back and gave me such a big smile I thought he was gonna die from happiness. Cute! "Wow princess that was very good for your first try! Now what do you say we get to bed so we can start your training tomorrow" Then we changed into some comfortable close and cuddled on the bed. Jay told me more about himself before we both drifted off into a comfortable sleep, in each others arms for the second time since meeting him.
