"At last the ugly princess gave up her voice to gain the power of beauty, the beauty goddess took her voice and made her the most beautiful maiden..... and that will be for today" Divine concludes as she close the middle size book in her palms and set it aside She smile at the wobbling sound as she looks at the funny face of little Anna, she was tapping her leg continuously on her princess size bed. She didn't expect the story to end here not when she is filled with curiousity to know what happened at last but not that she never knew her nanny...... She is one who likes keeping her in suspense but she don't need that now, the story was a mind blow to her and she needed the whole details tonight "Is time to go to sleep baby, is already past Nine" Divine smiles. Anna squeeze her face but that didn't solve the problem cos divine already know all her tricks Her frown face are just temporary, she doesn't mean it at all. She was her Nanny right from birth and has got to study her just like a book Same to Anna, Divine is her best friend, she shares most of her secret with her.... Though Divine thought of her secret to be childish but she never stop giving a listening ear. Is actually fun to be child She switched off the light and left the room before Anna comes up with her baby nagging She walk to the sitting room but she was actually heading to the kitchen cos she needed to finish up with some things "Get me a glass of juice from the kitchen Divine" Mrs Davids orders though her eyes were fixed on the television, her left hand holding the remote control while her right hand were dip inside the glass bowl filled with popcorns Mr Davids round his right hand on Mrs David's shoulder while his left hand found its way to the bowl. They were both engrossed in the movie Divine took her time to stare at them, she love the couple and much satisfied that Anna got caring parents. She strongly believe that the couple's love won't fade and Anna will be surrounded with nothing but love and care all her life They are already married for nine years but they still behave like newly wedded couple She let out a soft smile before pushing her way forward to the kitchen She hasn't spent twenty minutes in the kitchen before she started hearing some unpleasant noises The muscular voices that sounds from the sitting room were not farmilar to her She wonders the people that own the voices, she is specific that she saw only her boss and his wife in the sitting room before entering the kitchen She decided to take a look when the voices became more offensive, they sounded in a serious tone She stop on her track as her mouth wide in shock at what she saw She held her apron tightly as she breaths heavily, she count her step backwards Her mind flash towards Anna, she needs to get her out from this building She saw the faces of the arm robbers that point their guns at her boss and his wife ..... They laid on the tile floor, their face kissing the floor and their hands up in the air They are shivering on the floor and she can hear their chattering teeth, they are consumed with fear and she understands them, their lives are at the mercy of those robbers Divine was not surprise to see the robbers, she knew how rich her boss is and any robbers won't miss the opportunity of stealing from him but she was surprised how they broke through the tight security, it only means someone from inside help them in She held her breath as she runs towards Anna's room, she made sure she was not seen or noticed by the robbers ** Anna was already doozing to sleep but the noise coming from the sitting room wouldn't let her, she climb down her bed and decided to take a look She knew her parents are not the lousy type and they wouldn't be all of a sudden at the middle of the night Just like Divine she stopped at her track the moment she was about entering the sitting room, she hide behind the curtain as she peep at the people pointing a gun towards her parents She was swallowed in fear as she haven't see such thing before Her eyes were curious to know the man that hide his face behind a mask and was cladded in a black coat "Hello bestie" the man's deep voice echoes as he slowly uncover his face Anna held her breath as she doesn't want to believe her ears, she recognized the voice immediately, also the face and is someone she least expected to point a gun at her parents "Uncle Samuel" her little voice wanted to pronounce but it failed her, she wide her eyes in shock ..... Her parents not left out, they never thought they will felt betrayal from Samuel "Samuel you.... Why are you doing this, what grudge do you have against us" Mr Davids was able to find his voice though he is still lost in shock Samuel only let out an evil grin as he c**k his gun. Anna felt shiver down her spine "I owe you no explanation but you are stupid for trusting me" he pause and squat in front of Mr Davids "I envied you from the beginning .... You gets anything you want unlike me, you lived a luxurious life and you always boast about your money Just look at your mansion, so big and beautiful unlike mine. Your daughter gets a better life more than my poor son Everything you have I will take tonight after I sent you to hell, in your next life don't trust easily" Samuel utter with his dirty voice "I gave you everything Samuel, why did you allow jelousy to take the best part of you. I took you as my own brother and changed your life for better" Mr Davids mutter in disappointment "Don't do this Samuel.... If only you married me you wouldn't have met this fate. He signed it trusting that Samuel won't make him sign something that will destroy him but he was wrong, the devil was smart all along "You animal" he gritted but Samuel let out a menacing laugh "I guess you remember now, I will tell you again... Don't trust anyone in your next life" "You will pay for this, you ungrateful b***h!!" "It is not yet over Samuel, you will surely pay for betraying us and pay our good will for you with evil" Luisa snap in tears, this is just so much for her... Mr David gasp as he stare at Samuel, tears slowly fall down his cheeks, it hurts so much... not his dead but because he is dying in the hands of someone he loves and trust Anna gasp, she was about screaming but Divine was right on time to cover her mouth. She tries to free herself, she needs to save her parents .... She can't take it anymore but Divine holds her tight, she knew Anna is going to end up like her father if she let her go "No Anna, you have to survive to get justice for your parents" Divine whispers, she close her eyes tightly as she heard another gun shot, she can feel Anna's pain and it hurts her a lot She slowly open her eyes as they fall on Samuel, tears filled her eyes ....her boss doesn't deserve this at all "Trailtor" she mumble in rage, her bloody eyes fixed on Samuel. She never knew that Samuel would do a thing like this, he went too far, even after everything her boss did for him..... He got the mind to betrayal him She felt her whole cloth drenched in tears and that was Anna's tears. She pitied the young lad and she will make sure she survives "Let's go Anna"Divine whimpers but Anna shock her head negatively, her eyes fixed on her dead parents "Find the child and Nanny, get rid of them at once" Samuel orders. Divine froze immediately "Let's go Anna, the only thing you can do for your parents right now is to be safe for them" Divine urges Anna hestitates before running off with Divine, her eyes not giving up from looking back at her parents She won't let it slide, she won't let this day slide off her memory and she is going to pay her parents murderers in blindfold They ran through the back gate of the mansion running towards the woods, Samuel's men were still running after them Divine pigback Anna but at a point she let her down, she look back and Samuel men are right after them "I will try and stop them but you need to run...... You must survive baby, you will make sure that your parents gets the justice they deserves" Divine rush her words "What about you Nanny, I'm gonna survive with you. Promise me you will stay alive to get your parents the justice they deserves" Divine said and peck Anna's check "I love you too Nanny" Anna whispers teary as she couldn't control the tears so as Divine and in turn peck Divine cheek, Divine let out a teary smile and hug her tightly She broke the hug and urge Anna to leave immediately which she did after she hestitated for a while Anna ran as her tiny legs could carry her while Divine stayed behind to distract the men Anna reach at the peak of the wood and was thrown into dilemma In front of her is a cliff and behind her is those men. She held her breath as fear clouded her..... Could it be that her Nanny is dead. Those men are few miles away from her, that means that her Nanny is dead and they are now after her "Noooooo!!!!" She got the opportunity to scream out her sorrow. Is so painful for her, just so painful. She can't believe she loose all her family today, she lost everything today She stare at those men and then to that cliff which had a river beneath it She was clouded in anger, 'is better she dies from this cliff than to die in the hands of those monsters' she thought She look back and those men are already near to her with deadly smirk on their face, she turn to the cliff and close her eyes "Just come to us little lad, besides there is nothing you can do, you can't escape from us" one of the men said with a smirk on his face. Anna was just starring at them with disgust She look back at the cliff, though she was clouded by a little fear as she thought of jumping down the cliff She took some steps closer her eyes closed, the more she walk.... The more possible for her to fall down The men notice that she was trying to fall down the hill, they are about getting hold of her when She scream out loud and jump down the cliff. She dive into the river, her eyes still closed ready to accept her fate
