CHAPTER 15

LUCAS'S POV-

"good morning sir, you have to attend a meeting with black corporation today at 3:00 pm and these files are needed to be scheduled in one hour for final checking before you leave for the meeting." said Emmy.

"give me a remainder at 2:00 pm to look after every detail and pass these files to miss Olivia and i will just mail her the necessary information and you may leave now." i said and continued doing my work.

i called Olivia "Olivia come to my office right now." and cut the call before she could speak or deny to come.after few minutes i heard a knock on the door and Olivia was standing there "May i come in sir?"

i nodded my head in approval and gave her serious and firm expression. i need to act professional and bossy with her so that she can get the idea that i am not a skirt chaser all the time. she stood in front of me and i did not bothered about asking her to sit and said "Miss Emmy must has provided you the files that need to be arranged. We have very old and friendly relations with them so do schedule them precisely and check if anything is missing from the files. i need the files to be ready at 1:30 pm so you can go and start your work and you are going to attend this meeting with me. i will call you 15 minutes before the meeting will start so you can note down every detail and know about the deal. you may leave now." and started doing my work.

"okay sir" and turned her back when i said "i am telling you one more time Olivia not to call me sir or else you will be responsible for my actions." she left the office without saying anything. i resumed my work and now it is 1:30 pm so i called Olivia and said "I hope you have competed the files so bring them right now in my office. we need to discuss some important things before the meeting." 

"alright sir" she said and i don't know why but hearing sir from her mouth is making me angry but i have to absorb my anger and i maintained my posture and closed my eyes to suppress my feeling. she came to my office and i said " sit Olivia and give me the files." she gave me the files and i could sense a little nervousness in her body posture but i ignored it and started going through the files and i was fuming with anger would be an understatement. 

"what the hell is this Olivia? you have not arranged even a single data in the file. what are you trying to do hn? speak up dammit"

"i was not interested in doing it SIR" she said in a very mocking tone. i stood up from my seat and walked to her side. she sat in front of me now completely confident. i grabbed her hand and made her stand up. she started wriggling when i held her both the hands tightly. "Stop moving Olivia" but she is constantly trying to get out of my grip "i said stop" i shouted at the top of my lungs which made her stand still in my arms. she looked at me all confident and fearless.

"Explain your carelessness Olivia" i said holding her arms extra tight.

"why not rather spend your time arranging these files in order rather than wasting it on me SIR." she said suggestively while emphasizing on Sir. 

"i will not let this go Olivia just get out of my office right now."

"as you say sir." and she left.

i called Emmy and she came in  and i quickly said "Emmy just arrange these files right now and tell me all the important details."

"but sir i told Olivia to do this task."

" she was facing problems and have messed it up so do it now."

" aright sir i will try to do it as soon as possible." she picked up the files and left the office.

"what are you trying to do Olivia. i just hate careless people and you will see how firm and consistent i am towards my work and i will make you regret this action of yours. " i thought this to myself and tried to gain myself piece of mind.

Emmy entered inside my office at around 2:30 with the arranged files and told me everything about the meeting and project. i called Olivia and she came to my office and stood while crossing her hands near her chest.

"listen to me very carefully Olivia this meeting is important for me so don't you dare mess up this time or else you want to see my bad side. the choice is yours." i said to her to which she said ''if you are so afraid about my behavior then why don't you just kick me out of your office and appoint yourself a new assistant who is more capable and hardworking then me."

and that is where reality hit me. she is doing this just to annoy me so that i will kick her and she can get rid of me. i just stood near her and instantly held her by her waist. she gasped and put her hands on my chest to maintain the distance but i kept on pulling her close to me. i started closing the distance between our face when she turned her head. i tucked her hair behind her ear and brought me lips near her ears and said in a very husky tone "oh baby girl thank you so much for telling me the reason of this behavior of yours and trust me i am not going to kick you out even if i have to appoint a new personal assistant but i have to change this bitchy attitude of yours and i am going to love to teach you to do your job perfectly." she instantly looked at me and pushed me with all the force and gave me a bad luck thumb and said " you will remove me from this company by yourself Lucas and try your best. i wish you all the very bad luck. now let's go for the meeting." she said and we both left for the meeting.
