Chapter 6-03 Sasha chuckled, "it was amazing having everyone there. Oh that reminds me, you won't believe who called me today." "Who?" Michael asked with a smile. "Craig" she said and watched his countenance change to his usual cold face. She did a rethink in her mind, wondering if she said something wrong. "Why is he calling you?" "Oh nothing, just...just to wish me a happy birthday." "Good, he has done that haven't he?" "Yes but, he wants me to join him in lunch tomorrow to..." "To what?" Michael interrupted coldly. Again, Sasha had to wonder if she was saying something wrong, "well, he wants to buy me a drink as a congratulation to our marriage and also a little celebration for my birthday." "Weren't you satisfied with the one I threw you?" "Of course Michael I am, it's just that..." "That what?" He interrupted once again, "why do you want to see him?" "He is my friend Michael, he just came into town and he wants us to see, there is nothing wrong there." "There is everything wrong with it." "Why are you so worked up about this?" Sasha asked, slightly annoyed. "Because I don't like him and I don't want you seeing him." "Are we back to that phase again? You telling me what to do? Who to see?" Sasha asked, really angry now. Michael sighed, quiet for a moment, "no it's not like that and I'm sorry if I made you see it that way, it's just..." He sighed once more, "you were pretty close to him that time you left home." "We were just friends" she stated. "I saw you kiss him once" he whispered but she heard him. "You were in that black car that night" she stated, rather than asking and he nodded softly, "it means nothing Michael. I was confused and I needed..." It was her turn to sigh, "I needed someone to hold me that night and I did that but I didn't let it carry on, I told him the next day that I can't be with him. You are the one I want Michael, I still ignored his protest and moved back with you when you came with your proposition, and I married you still" she placed her hand on his on the steering wheel, "I love you Michael and Craig is just a friend, that and nothing more." Michael let out a deep breath, he looked at her briefly before glancing back on the road. He nodded once, "I believe you but can you do something for me?" "What is it?" "After seeing him tomorrow, can you not see him again?" "Oh please Michael" she let go of his hand and look out the window. "Please, I'm just not comfortable with you seeing him." "I really hate it of you telling me who to see and who not to." "There is no one else I have asked you not see you right? Just the mention of his name gives me a bad vibe." "No Michael, you are suffering from insecurity. I'm your wife for crying out loud, I married you not him and I'm going to stay with you not him, can't you see you are only being paranoid?" "We are having our first fight because of him, isn't that a bad hunch?" Sasha sighed, "don't make a big deal out of this Michael." "Then just don't see him!" "He is my friend!" "I don't want you being friends with him!" He slammed his hand on the steering wheel. "Don't tell me what to do" she shouted and the car was silent except for Christopher's cries, they had woken him up with their bickering. Michael said nothing again and continued with his driving while Sasha tended to their son, trying to calm him. When they got home, he parked the car in the garage and got out, slamming the door behind him. Sasha flinched when the door slammed shut, she watched him climbed the stairs to the front door in twos and she sighed, it's been a long time she had seen that side of him. She got down from the car later and entered the house, locking the door after her. She went straight to the nursery room, she was supposed to give Chris a bath but the night was already cold and she wouldn't love waking him from his sleep again so she just changed him into his pyjamas and tucked him into bed, turning on the baby monitor, she left the room. Entering her bedroom, Michael was already laying on the bed and she just changed out of her clothes and decided to take a shower, so she entered the bathroom. After dressing into her nightwear and brushing her hair, she applied her facial cream before joining Michael in the bed. She was prepared to stay on her own when his hands suddenly scooped her into his arms, he buried his face on her neck, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to walk out on you nor fight with you. Just do whatever you want okay, I won't interfere, just...let's not fight anymore okay? I can't handle fighting with you" he kissed her neck. Sasha sighed and hugged him, "I'm sorry too. You know for a moment, I thought you were going to go back to how you used to be." "No, never, not with you ever again. I love you Sasha." "I love you too, just know that and believe in it" she freed herself from his hold and looked deep into his crystal blue eyes, "I love you" she assured him. He smiled and nodded, "I know and I love you more" he suddenly grinned. "What now?" "Shall we kiss and make up?" He suggested and she groaned, knowing what his kiss will lead to but she still nodded and he kissed her, his hand softly trailing up her skin and fondling her breast through her nightwear. She surrounded herself to his exquisite touch and this time, there wasn't Agatha to ruin the moment.
