The Prince of Hell's Redemption

I was born to humanity in the year 1502 as the heir to the Dukedom of Westbrook, but that title was never my destiny. My fate was sealed when at birth I was marked with the Morning Star above my heart. Therefore, when I died suddenly at 23 I was greeted by my true purpose. I was never meant to be a duke, but a prince. As I descended into Hell and the flames paled my skin and transformed my eyes, the mark upon my chest began burning me internally. Visions of who I am and what I am to be flashed behind my eyes for what felt like centuries, but may have been only seconds. I am the Devil’s son, the Dark Prince, this is my destiny. As I exited the flames my existence finally made since, all of my life I felt something dark crawling beneath the surface, and thus I accepted the role I was supposed to play. I made peace with parting from my mortal life, saying goodbye to my home, my friends, my family, my title, even my humanity. I left everything, everything except my name. William Sussex. For several years I lived peacefully as the Dark Prince, but in 1557 my father informed me he had formed a new plan to destroy his greatest rival’s children, and cast me as the lead in this play. Again I accepted without hesitation. I was made for this. That is how I awoke once more in the human realm, but I am now far from human. So many stories have been told about the creature I have become, so many names given, but I’ll use my favorite: vampire. I was the first and only vampire sent with the mission to rid this world of humanity and use their blood to gain power for our future conquests, so, I did. For years I traveled across Europe, beginning in my homeland of Britain and terrorizing village after village. For 150 years I did my father’s evil deeds, eventually feeling sick with each life I took. I began observing humanity from afar and felt a new appreciation for them growing inside of me. I don’t remember exactly when it happened, but one day I found myself unable, and unwilling, to take another life. I was disgusted with myself, and vowed to end my g******e. That was 50 years ago. I had reached Ireland and became fascinated with the Gaels and their culture. As you can probably guess my father doesn’t take well to being disobeyed and sent his legion of demons to terrorize the country of Ireland as punishment for my defiance. He sent a message in fire late one night stating: William, I don’t know what you hope to accomplish with this little tantrum, but know this. I am the ruler of hell boy, not you, I will send every last demon in this fiery pit to the surface to destroy that precious little island you’ve grown so fond of. Stop f*****g around up there, do your duty, rid that rock of those worthless insects. The puppies will continue to play until you do. Father Furious and far from willing to back down I began a different mission, a crusade against my father and his minions. For the past 50 years I have slaughtered monsters all across Ireland. I’ve saved towns and watched them burn to the ground. My thirst remains, but my target has changed from the humans to the devil himself. I am William Suffix, Prince of Hell, and I’m going to kill the King.
