POV: Sarina
Everyone stared at me, stunned, while Lilian pointed at me, screaming and crying at the same time.
"I can't take this anymore! She won’t stop until she sees me completely destroyed or worse!"
Paralyzed, I simply watched the scene unfold before me.
This time, she hadn’t incriminated me with just a simple note.
Her guards were holding a torn dress in their hands, stained with a dark liquid that looked like blood.
"This was found in Lady Lillian’s chambers," one of the guards announced, raising the garment for all to see.
Lillian hugged herself as if she were traumatized, her sobs intensifying.
"I was attacked!" Her voice wavered, filled with fear. "In the middle of the night, someone entered my room and tried to hurt me… If I hadn’t woken up in time…"
