Chapter Seven

"I could be making better use of my time you know that right?" Harvey folded his arms as he skimmed through the few students walking passed him or just lounging around. "I highly doubt that Harvey," Scarlett said, scoffing. Scarlett discretely pointed to a girl by her locker. "What about her?" The girl was slim, she was blessed with glistening chocolate skin, yet, she wore a perfectly sculpted frown. From the way she shoved her books into her locker, it was quite obvious she didn't want to be pestered by anyone. "No, she seems like she doesn't want to be disturbed." Harvey sighed, he was getting tired of looking for a girl to practice socializing with. "I could use my free time to do my assignments you know." Harvey leaned against his locker in exasperation. The few stares he'd been receiving made him uncomfortable at first, however, he could care less now. In his opinion, he didn't think he looked that different. However, this was high school, everyone noticed everything, especially when the supposed loser looked like a snack all of a sudden, Scarlett's words mind that. She encouraged him to accept the stares as new layers, use them to stunt his revamped appearance. "We're juniors Harvey we have next year to worry about assignments." She flipped her golden hair. "Hmm, yeah I don't think that's how it works but ok." He chuckled. Scarlett rolled her eyes. "What of her then?" "Too pink." "Her." "Too emo." "Her." "I can see the pocket knife poorly hidden in her pocket." "You're so f*****g picky Harvey," Scarlett groaned. "Why can't I just practice with you." "You're too comfortable with me, you need to socialize with someone new," she said as her eyes looked over students, like a predator hunting prey. "But I'm tir-" "Her, she's the one." Scarlett cut him off, staring ahead to the locker opposite his. The moment his eyes found her, he knew he was done for. He mentally melted into a puddle of unaltered infatuation. She was wearing a freaking FNAF t-shirt for Freddy's sake. "I think I'm in love," Harvey whispered. Scarlett didn't know how to feel about that and she didn't want to find out. "Go f*****g talk to her then," she grumbled, unaware her eyebrows were scrunched into an envious frown. Harvey raised an eyebrow. "Um, ok grumpy pants." "Just go be your quirky self. I'm sure she'll love you." She attempted a genuine smile. It was honestly stupid of her to get jealous out of nowhere when she was the one who picked the girl. "Remember what I taught you ok. Be smooth, be intriguing and?" Scarlett gazed at him expectantly. "Don't be a loser," Harvey rolled his eyes. A/N Don't forget to vote!
