Chapter 9 Ally pulled into the driveway, listening to the hum of the windshield wipers as they passed across the glass. She could almost hear the bathtub calling her name. The hot water would soothe her skin. What better way to help her forget the last few hours of her life. She’d been so lost in thought she hadn’t noticed everyone else leaving the office hours before she did. Even the drive home became a blur.
