Love at the first sight!
“Nara, come on, wake up my dear! Besides, you know that I miss you so much, so please, I can not allow you sleep, you know, so please. I want you tell me how the school was and yeah, you know. Anyways, the breakfast is ready, make sure you come together with your brother Marc! Your dad too is waiting for you and you know they are waiting for him at his job, so please come quickly!” That was Millie, Nara’s mom, and her husband was the owner of a food processing industry. Her husband was called Calvin, though many people called him Vin.
Millie was among the happiest women ever, because she was blessed to have a sweet husband like Vin, and she knew that he loved her like no one else. They weren’t old enough, and they were blessed with two kids and that was it. They had a really rich family, and they didn’t have anything like a money issue, because they were blessed with a car, a big mansion, and industry and many other things. However, Millie was a great mother, so though they were rich, she raised her kids, Nara and Marc with a so kind and humble heart to an extent that they knew that they could never disrespect anyone as they were people too.
Nara was a tall, beautiful girl ever, with natural beauty. She had a long, soft, shinny and natural hair, blue eyes and her smile was the brightest. She didn’t like makeups, though she had never ever used them before. Though their family was rich, she was such a local girl who was always locked in the gates. She was the most uninformed person. She didn’t know what was going on in the world around her, because her parents could never grant her freedom. She didn’t have visitors most often and she was never someone’s visitor except when her parents knew well her friends.
She could leave the house only on Sundays for a Holly Mass, only when accompanied by the parents. However, when she finished her ordinary level, at the age of fourteen, a tiny piece of her liberty was granted. She was allowed to own a phone, though she wasn’t allowed to lock it in any unnoticeable way. She could never think of having a boyfriend, not just because of her parents only, but because she had also got used to loneliness in her life that she had never felt in need of loving or being loved.
Nara was the second born and her old brother was called Marc. He was a serious boy who liked fashion and design and he was good at advertising new textile styles. He was an employee in a clothes shop and his job was to promote the new styles of a shop called “ Be Smart Men’s shop.” It was a well known shop and Marc was a famous fashionable man, whom many girls liked but he didn’t like fame nor did he like chasing after girls. He was a young, wise and serious boy.
Apart from Nara’s family, there was another girl called Mickey. She was Nara’s best friend. They were of the same age and they had been colleagues for about four years, so they knew each other very well. Mickey was also the second born after her brother named Nelson, but some could call him Nelly. Their parents were rich and they were never around, they were like foreigners, but they were traveling business men and women. They were established business people and so, Nelly and Mickey had got all the freedom that people like Nara had never held about. They could spend most of their times in Dubai, most of the cases, in business issues or enjoying life. They never liked complicating life, so were their children.
Mickey and Nelly had a great liberty and their parents were never afraid of giving them a great amount of money every time they wanted it, without even knowing the purpose for the money. Mickey was a stylish girl who only valued what was at the top. On her dressing style, she was a killer. Makeups were her medicine. She could always tease Nara, saying that she was her traditional grandma, because she never knew what was hitting in the world of fame. However, Mickey’s beauty only lied in her makeups. She couldn’t step out of their house without making up her whole body.
Nelly was the same. His every single item on his body was very costly. He looked like money and everything he said was all about money. He was still in advanced level, while his sister, as well as Nara were starting it. However, he was really a bizarre man. At school, there were another beautiful soul named Safi and she was eighteen, as was Nelly. She was a serious, but also social girl. Many boys liked her, including Nelly but she wasn’t interested in high school boys. She only pursued her lessons.
Coming back to Nara, she had grown up with a dream of being a doctor, just as many kids grow up with such dreams. She pursued the field of medical sciences, and she was really a smart girl in class. However, when she was still young, she had a talent of designing and decorating other stuffs, clothes, you could find her room fresh and clean. She had an organized mind. She wasn’t like other kids who liked disorder. Though she liked it, she had never gave a room to it in her mind, because her father could always make her dream of strong dreams only, and he never considered fashion and design as among the strong dreams.
When Nara pursued her medical sciences in high school, she was obliged to be separated with her friend for life, Mickey, who had immersed her life in tourism. She enjoyed adventure and having trips all her life. Mickey could never live without a boyfriend. In that time, her boyfriend was called Ken, a physically fit man, who had graduated from high school and he was now in University, with employment at the same time. He was also a quick rich man who had an esteemed car in his fellows. Ken and Mickey could always spend their time together, going here and there just for fun.
It was a good evening, when Vin went home after work. Vin didn’t like spending most of his time in bars, so he often went home, immediately after work, to go for his lovely wife and family. When Millie was taking care of him, he told her that he had had an idea when he was at work. Millie was ready to hear from her husband. Vin told her that he was thinking of how they could start planning for their daughter and allowing her to improve many of her skills.
He started with a driving license. He was willing to send Nara to a driving school so she could finish high school with a driving license as it had been the case for her brother Marc. Her mom didn’t hesitate to accept and when Nara was asked of it, of course she couldn’t refuse. On Monday, her dad took her to a driving school and she started learning, both practical and theoretical lessons.
She was such a fast learner that her teacher was very proud of her for the first time. Though her parents didn’t allow her to socialize with everyone, she was such a sociable girl in nature, though she didn’t allow it to be bright among others, because she wasn’t used to it. Her first practical course was amazing. She could finish her practical course and call her permanent taxi man to take her to the theoretical class.
Life was enjoyable for her, as long as she was a bit given a little chance to breathe a fresh air from the outside and she couldn’t miss any class. When she told Mickey of her experience, Mickey didn’t care at all. For her, there was no interesting story in what Nara was telling her. As they were in small holidays, it was time to go back to school and they were all in boarding schools. Nara was at her own school, as well as Mickey. Nelly and Safi were at the same school and they were in the final level. It was only one trimester and they finish high school.
When Mickey was going to school, nobody cared. Parents only sent school fees and pocket money, a great amount as they wanted, with high expensive materials. It was a usual case that Ken was the one to take Mickey to school. She was a famous girl at her school and she had a group of wealthy girls that she was leading. She was responsible for the entry and exit of the group. They were both life givers and life takers at the same time there at the school. You were lucky if they had no issue but having a misunderstanding with them was the worst nightmare ever.
On the other hand, Nara was an adorable girl at her school and many teachers liked her because she was a clever girl and her attention in class was excellent. She was known at helping her colleagues and she was a good Christian. However, she liked dancing modern dance, though she didn’t know more about it, but she wanted to improve it. She could study hard, always thinking of first of all pleasing her dad so that she couldn’t waste her dad’s trust in her.
For Nelly, he never cared about job, because he even had a job before he could graduate from high school and he knew he was rich. Safi was his addiction. He liked her very much and nearly every student knew it. Unfortunately, he wasn’t good at courting. He believed that his money was a wise tongue that could easily convince Safi to fall for her, though it wasn’t the case.
One day, some employees from a certain famous bank from South Africa came at their school for a certain talk about money management. Coincidentally, Willy was a client on that bank and he knew each and every employee who had come there. Among all of them, there is one man who was a friend of him called Rick. Lewis was a good friend and he had met Nelly when he started being their client and he knew that he was an arrogant man though he didn’t care because he was a client and a king, as well.
When they finished communicating to the students, Safi had enjoyed the talk and she was much interested in what was being taught so when they reached in the time of asking questions, she had as many as she could, but the time had passed and she was asked if she could be answered after the meeting had ended. She then waited in much patience and in no time, she heard a nice, calm and gentle voice behind her. Since she was in deep thoughts, the voice scared her and when she turned to see who was talking to her, she was about to run but when she turned, her fear turned into joy and shyness somehow.
Then the handsome boy said “ Hello! Are you Safi?” Then she answered “yes, I’m the one, nice to meet you!” They started introduction and the boy was Rick, Nelly’s friend, though not close and he was there to give much explanations to Safi’s unanswered questions. To be honest, they had the best conversation ever and nobody wished to say goodbye to another. Unfortunately, time had managed to be their worst enemy in that moment and everyone had to go back to their responsibilities. As they were saying goodbye to one another, deep in their hearts, there was a deep and uninterrupted conversation going on.
However, Nelly had seen the way they were looking at each other and he thought of something unusual. The school was what was going on and both Nelly and Safi were preparing themselves to do a final exam and finish high school. For Rick, it had been only one year since he had finished and he had a chance to get a job. Time didn’t delay and they graduated while Mickey and Nara were moving to another level.
The holidays started and Nara was too excited to go back to the Youth Driving School to continue what she had started and on the second day of her holidays, she had gone there. Her teacher received her with much love and care as she was his favorite student and he gave her a long time of studying because she had to remember everything she had learned.
When she finished learning, she said goodbye to everyone. For the location of the playground where they practiced driving, it was down the road, where a person could clearly see people above on the road. When she looked up at the road so she could go for a taxi, she stood a little bit, staring in one direction. She then shook her head and kept on staring. She had seen someone unusual, someone special to her, though she didn’t know the person. For your information, he was a boy. In much confusion, she said “ hey, did you by any chance see,,,,,,, I mean,,,,,,,” then she went up to the road in much hurry, unfortunately she couldn’t see anyone. He had already disappeared.
That boy was really blessed with much cuteness. He was the only handsome boy that Nara had ever seen, that he nearly stopped her breadth. Nara was not a kind of girl who liked boys, but from that moment, she had seen someone who could dare to change her beliefs. She called her taxi man, and entered the taxi, but she was speechless. Then she went to study theory, in a great amazed face, wondering who the guy was, to boost her happiness and joy in such a little time. She could only hear about love at the first sight in movies, but she didn’t know that it could be the reality to her, until it happened.
