"Noah… '' Deiji murmured when she saw a familiar face among them. Noah smile at her.

"Deiji?" Deiji turns her head with the girl who wears a fitted red dress above the knee and a classy stiletto. It was her friend. Her ex-friend to be exactly.

"Bianca!" May panunuyang bigkas niya sa pangalan nang tumawag sa kanya.

She rolled her eyes and laugh disappointed when she also saw her ex-friend's boyfriend, Carlo Torres.

"Wow! Lovers on one roof." Deiji sarcastically said with a nasty laugh while looking at them confidently.

"I thought you broke up with him but look at the both of you. Staying together even in pandemic." Deiji continue. Napaiwas naman si Bianca saka umirap sa hangin.

Tahimik ang lahat dahil sa hindi alam ang nangyayari sa kanila. Noah clap his hand once and close his finger to catch their attention.

"Okay, so… Mind telling us what happened to all of you?" Noah ask and look at them one by one.

"And Deiji, what's with the baby? Your son? Daughter?" He continued.

"Mukha ba akong may anak na? Siraulo talaga 'to." Inungasan naman niya si Noah dahil mukhang pinagtitripan na naman siya tulad ng laging ginagawa nito sa kanya.

"Ahm, hindi saamin 'yong baby. Survivor lang din." Yuki answered his question on behalf of Deiji and took Zebby from her.

"Salamat pala." Glenn extends his arms to Noah as a sign of respect. He respects all of them for helping them escape, especially the one who went outside risking his life to guide them here.

"No big deal, dude. Sino pa ba magtutulungan, diba? Tayo-tayo na lang na nabubuhay at humihinga." Pagbibiro ni Noah saka palo ng mahina sa braso ni Glenn.

Glenn just smile shyly and brush the back of his head.

"I'm Christ!" A guy who guide them a while ago intruduced his self.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Glenn."

"Yuki."

"Michael and I'm Michelle. We're twins."

"Cool!" Noah comment.

"Deiji here." Deiji sat on a couch in front of her and asked Yuki to sit down so she can feed Zebby.

"I'm Noah." Noah intruduced himself and smile like smart as* kid.

"Bianca."

"I'm Daisy. Nice to meet you all." Magiliw na pagpapakilala nito sa kabilang grupo saka ngumiti ng pagkatamis-tamis.

"I'm Myrna. Nice to meet you too."

"Carlo." Nag-iwas ito ng tingin sa lahat.

"So, what happened to all of you? Why are you all running and letting them chased after you?" Christ straightly asked them.

"Well, a bad thing happen in a place where we're staying. And we have no choice but to run." Glen explained and sip to his coffee, Daisy and Myrna prepared for them.

"Salamat pala sa inyo ah. Natataranta na kami kanina." Pinagtiklop pa Michelle ang mga palad at masinsinang nagpasalamat sa mga ito.

"No, It's okay-"

"What the heck are you doing here in Sitio De Villasarza?" Deiji cut Noah off and put her feet above the glass table in front of her while sitting pretty on the couch.

Zebby fell asleep so Yuki decided to ask someone in an empty room on the 2nd floor to put Zebby. Michelle and Michael also slept with Zebby as they say they are still sleepy and it's their chance to sleep in a comfortable bed after the zombie outbreak.

"What?" Takhang tanong naman ni Noah kay Deiji na speechless pa dahil medyo rude ang way ng pagtatanong nito sa kanya. Isama mo pa na pinutol nito ang pagsasalita niya kanina lang.

"I mean, hindi ka naman taga rito. Kaya anong ginagawa mo dito sa Sitio?" Prangkang tanong ni Deiji sa kanya.

"Grabe hindi ka pa din nagbabago. You're still f*cking cool, Deiji." Noah smirks at her as he still finds Deiji attactractively.

"You both know each other?" Biglang sabat ni Carlo na ngayon ay nakatayo sa likod ni Bianca na nakaupo sa couch kaharap ni Deiji.

"Yeah! We're classmates wayback junior high school." Noah wink at Deiji.

"Sorry to ask, but… do you have any food here?" Tanong ni Glenn kay Noah dahil nag-uumpisa ng kumalam ang sikmura niya at sigurado siya na gano'n din ang mga kaibigan.

"Yup! Pero paubos na. We already eat those stocks in the fridge." Noah answered.

"Kaninong bahay 'to?" Tanong naman ni Deiji.

"Sa akin." Daisy answered and raise her hand. She awkwardly smile when all of them look at her.

"Where's your parents?" Tanong naman ni Glenn sa kanya.

"I don't know. They went to have a date for their 25th wedding anniversary. But an outbreak occur and that's the last time I saw them." Malungkot at mangiyak-ngiyak na sagot ni Daisy sa kanila.

Lahat sila ay iisa lang ng iniisip. Even Daisy think what they are thinking. Ayaw mang isipin ni Daisy na pagala-galang zombie na ang mga magulang ay hindi niya magawa. Umaasa pa din siya na nagtatago sa ligtas na lugar ang mga magulang katulad niya.

"I'm thinking to get food and supplies." Pagdadalawang isip ni Noah. Sinabi niya kasi ito sa mga kasamahan ngunit lahat ay nagalit lang sa kanya dahil mapanganib sa labas at suicidal decision lamang daw ang iniisip ng binata.

"Let's do that." Kalmadong asik ni Glenn na walang takot at pagdadalawang isip na mababakas sa pananalita at emosyon sa mukha.

Nagulat ang lahat sa mabilis na sagot ni Glenn kay Noah na hindi nila sinang-ayunan. Maliban kay Deiji na mukhang may balak pa nga na sumama.

"But we need to eat first. We don't have energy left running from those crazy zombies." Deiji suggested.

"You're going too?" Noah seems suprised.

"Ofcourse." Simpleng sagot lamang ni Deiji sa kanya.

"Delikado sa labas, Deiji. You should stay here." Hinawakan pa ni Noah ang braso ng dalaga ng akmang tatalikod ito upang sumunod kay Glenn na ngayon ay nasa kusina na.

"Anong problema mo?" Kunot noong tanong ni Deiji kay Noah at malakas na binawi ang braso mula sa binata.

"Masyado kang praning. I've been doing this dangerous job since the first day of the pandemic. Stop overreacting okay?" She just taps Noah's chest and follows Glenn.

Nagkatinginan naman sina Christ, Bianca, Carlo and Daisy na ngayon ay kasama nila sa sala. Magkakasama sila simula ng maganap ang masamang pangyayari ngunit ngayon lamang nila nakita si Noah magreact ng ganito.

"Do you have a plan?" Noah asks Glenn who's eating in front of him. They all are now gathered in the kitchen eating the last food Noah was talking about.

"None." Glenn simply answered.

Napahinto naman si Noah sa pagkain at naibaba ang kutsara at tinidor saka walang buhay na sumandal sa upuan.

"What?" Inosente at kalmado ang tanong ni Glenn kay Noah.

"You don't have any plan going out to take foods and supplies? We're just going to risk our life. Is that so?" Inis na tanong nito kay Glenn na mukhang hindi pa seryoso sa pakikipag-usap sa kanya na lalong nagpainis sa kanya.

"Hindi ko alam kung anong ibig mong sabihin, Noah." Mahinhin at kalmado pa ding tanong ni Glenn sa kanya.

Napahilamos ng mukha si Noah gamit ang dalawang palad at muling tumingin ng seryoso kay Glenn.

"Nothing. I might be overreacting." Noah looked deeply in Deiji's eyes and stood up and walked away from them.
