They all smiled, understanding that I was just a child. “Papa, please I want to go, I haven't visited any other pack since I was born, I want to make new friends. “Stop being naughty and come with me. “You're disturbing the elders. After a while, Mama joined us and we drove off. I was so excited to see how beautiful our world is. I sat close to the car window looking at the beautiful trees, mountains, and different animals. “I have a lot to tell my friends when I come back. I was still watching the beauty of the road when the gentle breeze nudged me to sleep. I woke up to the sound of a car horn. “Mama? What is it? Have we reached our destination? I asked. “No son,” I think someone is on the road and doesn't want us to pass. “Is he a bad person? I asked her. “I don't yet, but don't worry there's nothing your mother cannot handle okay? She assured me. Mama picked up her phone and called Aunt Aurora who was in the other car with a guard. She asked the guard to go and check what was happening. “Please, be careful," she added. The moment one of the guards got close enough he was blasted into pieces. I screamed, startled, and I held onto my mother. Move! Move!! She commanded the driver but before he could turn, we were surrounded. I saw a Wolf wolf slam open our front door, dragging out one of the guards. “Mama! I shouted out of fear. She quickly got out of the car, pulling me with her. As soon as our feet hit the ground, mama pushed me to the driver. "David, protect my son with your life, run as fast as your legs would carry" she commanded before she transformed into a big white wolf with golden eyes. She lunged at the wolf that was coming close to where we were hiding trying to make an escape. The guard grabbed me looking for every opportunity to run while he sometimes helped Mama. He got a chance to move to another hiding place, while we were quietly moving I heard my howl painfully. "Mama!" I yelled. I kept crying for her, wanting her to come back. Tears continued trailing down my cheeks. I broke away and ran Back to where I left my mama. Before the guard could pull me away, I saw six weird wolves. Three of them lay dead as mama fought the remaining. I couldn't tell whose blood covered my mother, but it was clear to see that she was losing the fight. She appeared to be exhausted. My face began to heat just as one of the wolves turned and noticed me. His eyes followed my face before he charged at me. Mama noticed him moving toward me and plunged for him, grasping his throat between her open jaws. He fell to the ground, blood covering his fur. Mama didn't see a wolf sneaking up on her until she was lying in front of me, dead. Mama! My tears flowed as I screamed. The guard didn't allow me to even touch Mama, he transformed into his wolf and grabbed me, tossing me to his back with ease. I gripped his fur between my fingers as he ran away in the direction of the wood. As I peeked behind us, I caught a glimpse of Aunt Aurora standing over Mama’s body. She raised her hands as if she was giving instructions. I widened my eyes as I saw eight wolves chasing us. All that could be heard were the sounds of heavy breathing, the rush of the wind, and the orders from the bad wolf as he yelled nonstop. "Don't let them escape! Get them!" He yelled as more joined in the chase. David, the guard kept running as fast as he could yet carefully. He didn't want me to fall. Nothing else mattered to him now except for my life. If not for anything else but for Luna's instructions and he was ready to keep it. "Get him!" I heard the wolf’s voice again and knew they were covering the distance. He couldn't let them catch him, he wouldn't let them kill me. He increased his pace, running deeper into the forest even though it was obvious that it wasn't the part leading to our pack.he just wanted to escape. So, I closed my eyes and started imagining Mama’s beautiful smile and how helpless she lay on the grou nd. I wish I had the power to command fire on those evil wolves. After that, everything went dark.
