Chapter 69
Barry woke up.
He found himself lying on his own bed.
He realized he was in his bedroom.
He just realized that he had fallen asleep.
He got up from his bed.
He had a series of nightmares.
He didn’t want to remember any of them.
He remembered removing the dreamcatcher from his bedroom wall. He also noticed that he left the Ouija board lying on the floor, with the planchette still on top of it.
He looked out the window.
It was getting dark.
He also hated to think he was still alone in the house.
He put the Ouija board away, and then left his bedroom.
He went back downstairs, towards the living room.
He saw the dreamcatcher and the turquoise amulet still laid out, on the couch.
He lifted the amulet and put it around his neck.
