Chapter 30 - Almost
Jake POV Sleep had evaded me hours ago, so I had spent the last god-knows-how-long absentmindedly tossing a pair of balled-up socks in the air and catching them. I couldn’t get Neve out of my head. So much had changed since I went away to the Alpha Institute. I naively thought things would stay the same at Sangue Luna Pack whilst I was away, and I would just come home and the mate bond would do its ‘thing’ and Neve and I would be together. Never in a million years did I think that Neve would transform into a fairy! She was so different, and yet still the same Neve. Everything I loved about her was still there, just enhanced. Her confidence and sass were off the charts. Yet, unfortunately, so was her evasiveness and her inability to express her emotions. That was driving me crazy In frust
