"Behold! The breakfast of champions!"

I'm so proud.

I was definitely so proud.

I looked down to witness first hand, my enormous spread of plates we now had laying there before us. It truelly was a sight to behold and admire!

"A feast for one, and a feast for all!"

Before us, we have....

Two packets of toast, a plate of American Pancakes, sausages, bacon, hash browns and eggs all on a plate each and a variety of jams and spreads, such a beautiful display is not appreciated enough in my opinion..

The main thing is this would definitely suffice us well for the journey we still had ahead of us.

Luckily we had more plates on the way aswell just in case...

"only for those on a quest for hunger and knowledge shall they be worthy of such a blessed fea-"

"yes I get it! Shut up announcing it so loudly! Please!?"

I glanced up.

Blondie flicked her fringe across her eyes while the rest of her hair was practically moulded around her face.

"Not everyone in here needs to hear what you have to say!"

I looked around, witnessing the supposed audience we had in our personal space...

The diner was actually pretty decent, sort of reminded me of a classic 50s gig you'd see over in America, had it's own jukebox and everything...

Anyway the numbers we have are....

Seven.. Seven people.

"What? It's not like they care" I laughed, her embarrassment only seemed to grow.

Okay now I think about it, it was seven people if we aren't counting the waitress, then it would be six...

Solid crowd.

"Anyway I said I was going all out, you should have known better" I laughed loudly, making it crystal clear to her that I was enjoying her embarrassment. "Plus nobody said you had to sit with me..."

It's true I may have decided to go over board. Even for my usual standards, this was ridiculously over my usual daily intake.

But if I'm capable of providing, it could certainly be a good gesture towards my potential queen to be.....

"Well someone has to try make sure you don't get yourself fat off of OUR food" her snarkey remark made a few people around us giggle. Girls of all people..

"If you don't watch yourself, you'll be a size 32 before we even get to the final bill!"

With that, she picked up her spoon and began to shovel in some eggs, Of all places she could cover, she didn't think her mouth was a viable option somehow...

"You know, most people say thank you when a guy buys them breakfast"

I remarked, I almost snatched her plate away but she had already clocked on to what I was trying to do.

"Yes... And most guys also don't eat like a zoo of gazelles" she propped the plate on her knee, which was completely out of me reach. "If anything, you should be thanking me for helping you out!"

"As if!" I spat, I was carefully eyeing up how to quickly swoop over and grab whatever was left for my daily intake... I needed her to hold still for a second...

"So what's next? I suppose your going to eat seven plates of dessert after you're done?"

GOTCHA!

I managed to dive forward and quickly snatch the eggs, all without making a spillage!

"Can you at least let me eat before you try insulting my appetite!?"

I think she was still stunned as I was plating up my eggs, her expression finally gave me that scowl.

"Try having a pancake or something, may even cheer your attitude up for a bit"

"Oh gee... Thanks a bunch, that'll solve all my problems and worries.."

She made a lousy ass attempt to seem enthusiastic by ripping a pancake In half. "But at least it will be some calories off your hips"

"For your information, I eat plenty of carbs to fuel my strength during my daily workout routines"

I shoved some toast in my mouth and deliberately spat some crumbs in her direction. "Without a full intake, I would be weak and pathetic like your friends"

She suddenly launched a bowl of butter packets my way without so much as a flinch in her wrist. I dodged them all with ease.

Funny little thing.

"What's the matter? Suddenly sensitive"?

As I got ready to wink her eyes met mine far too quickly. They were glowing bright gold...

"This is your only warning to not mention my friends again... And I mean only warning"

Her wolf was motioning itself out as her eyes began to glow brighter. I knew it would only cause a scene if I pushed on...

"Okay... You won't hear another word again don't worry" I forgot she's an Alpha, which means her aura was why all the people around us felt very uneasy.

I could even feel it too.

"I apologise... But you need to calm down... Your pressance is starting to choke us.. "

The air dropped, as if by a light switch her aura stopped flowing, leaving everyone around us gasping for air.

That was close.

"Sorry... Sorry everyone"! I announced while raising my hands around me. I don't think anyone dared to look but at least nobody was hurt.

"Just a false alarm, nothing to see here"

"I'm sorry" she breathed out, her eyes darted around to see a lot of confusion on other people's faces, but eventually everyone went back to their usual chatter.

"I'll be honest. I didn't even know I could do that..."

"Look it's all good" I played it off cool, despite my intentions I really didn't want to get her worked up again "I sort of asked for it anyway right"?

I tried to smile, but her whole deminor left her looking really helpless and sad. As if she just got told off for something.

This is weird. I almost felt bad for her, she suddenly seemed like a normal person for the first time since I met her.

I was chuffed. Yet again I was able to cheer a girl up! And all it took this time was one sentence.. A record for sure to show how awesome I can be...

I gave her a very sly wink, while her face scowled back into mine. The hots she had were so blatant it was almost rude to ignore it...

And now coffee has just arrived!

"Thank you" I smiled, as the cute waitress gave me a very flirtatious grin in return "That'll be all thanks"

My mood was lifted, she started to walk away and I couldn't help but watch her leave.

"Are you being serious right now!?"

Blondies eyes looked like they were shifting different colours. Her jealousy was leaking through!

"Hey relax! don't judge me" I chuckled back, I placed Reds coffee cup next to mine as if I was making a response.

"It's harder than you think being this good looking in public, doesn't hurt to express it sometimes"

"You're interested in my mate! What the f**k are you doing"!?

Aswell as getting her to sit next to me I also really needed my special girl to keep her strength up for the journey ahead. She looked rough as anything this morning. As if she hadn't slept in weeks.

"By the way, where is she?" I asked. I started eyeing up some ladies over by a corner table, as I could feel one of them checking me out every few minutes.

"I dunno, she said she needed some aspirin" blondie replied "although that was nearly half hour ago-"

"I see"

As if by a natural response I winked back at the blonde woman, who's eyes were checking me out seductively without any reason to stop.. She blushed, and I got a very nervous giggle in response.

"Can you stop that already"!?

"Hey it's nothing, doesn't mean anything"

The three girls were now staring over at me, I had to show them that I was the real deal "hand me over that sugar bowl would ya"?

Her annoying attitude decided to flick a handful of sugar sachets in my face which then made them all fall down my shirt instead.

The girls started laughing.

I was sat staring uncomfortably as the plates now started to vanish right before my eyes. His eyes and stomach clearly didn't match each other on the same balance.

His chops said it all, as he deliberately let some bean juice fall down his chin while he slurped away at his meal. He shook his head in response.

I sort of wanted to rip this guy apart too... Limb by limb...

He somehow managed to scarf down the plate of bacon, and was already onto the hash browns, his features where starting to look much less attractive with baked bean juice dripping off his jaw..

"Fine. But I'm at least running her coffee out to her before you swallow that whole too..."

Quickly I managed to snatch the mug away before he even had a chance to notice, but he was far too occupied by his breakfast to even care.

"I'll be back in a bit"

"It's okay, well get some fresh air" I whispered, my wolf was very riled up and antsy about his display of affection, that she just snarled at my response whilst proceeding to pace around in my head.

Straight to the point, only thing she seems to care about...

This was now my first time being this connected with my wolf, and I wasn't even sure if I liked it... Her appearance was beautiful, but her whole attitude was based on my mate alone, and I wasn't even meant to care about it, Yet I had no choice but to!

"Can we just calm down before we approach her this time please? Like maybe try not to leap out my face unless I say so!?"

I hoped that would grab her attention, make her less hostile and bitter... It did not. She just simply shook her mane before curling up in a ball with her back turned to me in silence.

I pushed myself through the double doors of the diner and began making my way over to the car, I couldn't see anyone over there but Reds scent was definitely close by...

I popped open the backdoor and was ready to pop the coffee mug in the cup holder. It had some in front too but I figured she could work for it.

I turned my vision back to the backseat... And I almost dropped the mug.
