The Story of Raven

It was late 1346 when the word of a plague was spreading through the land. It is said that this plague had started in the far east, and would quickly move to the western lands. Many people turned to the church to ask God for forgiveness and to spare them from this trial, while many others turned their back on God and fled the eastern lands in search of a land which would protect them. Lastly  you had a select few who fled their lands, but also continued to heavily  pray to God. I was one of the people who chose the last option. Well saying it was my choice would be wrong to say, but nonetheless it was what I did. Life was not glorious at this time, and many people died, including everyone I loved, but sometimes the unexpected happens and life changes for better and worse in ways you don't expect. In the times of the church having complete control over everyone and everything, life as a foul creature was nearly impossible. I never asked for this life I was given. I thought a death that would never come would be bliss, till I broke the only rule I was ever taught and helped them. But even now I do not regret a thing.
