Chase POV
It was the strangest experience I had ever had in my life. One moment I was fighting some rogue wolves, and the next, I was hanging in between this world and the next. I could see myself lying in the hospital bed, and the next, I would be sucked into this beautiful place I never wanted to leave. I felt happy there; I was at peace. I had so many questions about what was happening to me. For a while, I was back and forth between watching myself in the bed, watching machines keeping me alive, seeing Pete sitting with me, talking to me, and then I would be in this place again, surrounded by nature.
