Kathryn 51 Kathryn finally worked out the public transportation system, which was basically nothing where they now lived, but if she could get herself to the bus stop near Reelig, then she could travel to Inverness without too much trouble—just forty-five minutes and five pounds. She’d called the old farmer who Helen bought her food from and asked if she could meet with him at the local pub. His tone of voice told her that he thought it was a mighty weird request, but he acquiesced with gallantry.
