LARISSA’s POV…
The aftermath of alcohol is always a b***h. My alarm clock rang in my ears as loud as a fire alarm. I stretched my hands towards my night stand then slammed the stupid clock on the floor to stop it from ringing. I groaned slightly as I slowly opened my eyes and a beam of sunlight immediately shone on my face, blinding me and awaking an awfully sharp
pain on the right side of my brain.
Everything hurt, my body hurt all over like I was involved in some man labor last night, and my head continued to bang like two sumo wrestler were wrestling on it.
“f*****g hell!” I cursed out in pain.
Slightly surprised, I quickly straightened myself up on the bed and nausea immediately kicked in my system. I cried and covered myself with the blanket to block the light from my face.
Fatigue, weakness, excessive thirst, dry mouth, headache, vomiting and vertigo was the summary of what she I feeling at that moment. I groaned and cried as I wished for the banging and ringing in my head to stop.
I began to feel nauseated and suddenly felt the urge to throw up so I sprang up to my feet and covered her mouth with her hands to block the puke as I sprinted to the bathroom to empty my stomach and the alcohol in her system.
After finally emptying my stomach, I leaned my head on the toilet seat and wondering what the heck was
wrong with me.
Why the f**k am I throwing up this much?”
I stoop up then washed my mouth in the basin and then splattered some water on my face to jolt me awake.
I stared at my reflection in the mirror for some seconds as I tried to remember why I was suddenly feeling nauseated. It took me a few minutes to figure out the reason behind my nausea.
Of course… I went to the club last night… I drank last night. And not just a little…. I drank a whole lot. So much that I lost count after the fifth shot of vodka. The memory was all so blurry in my head, but little by little, the web that was blinding my memories faded to let myself in shock as I started recalling all the events that happened last night.
There was a guy... A really handsome and sexy guy. A guy I walked up to meet at the bar and whom I spent most of my night there with. A guy I kissed and let put his hands on me.. A guy I felt really attracted to. f**k!… A guy that I felt desire and want for.
FUCKING HELL!!
That single thought made me sick to my stomach again instantly. I can’t believe I let myself go like that. How could I feel desire for someone other than the guy I loved? I could barely even remember the guy's face. It was still a little bit blurry but I was sure he was super handsome and hot.
How did I go from loving Noah to thinking about following a complete stranger home?
The easy explanation was to blame it all on the alcohol. I think the alcohol actually played a huge part in my decision last night. I know I said I was going to hook up with the first guy that flirts with me at the club, but sober Larissa would have never done that. Alcohol gives you the confidence and pushes you to do the crazy things in your head.
It was not my first time drinking alcohol but it was sure a first for me to drink that much with someone I had met at the bar. And for some absolutely weird reasons, I could not seem to stop thinking about the stranger from last night.
I let out a small sigh then washed off my face one more time before walking out and went back to my bedroom.
My head continued to bang in pain and I dragged myself out of my bedroom and went downstairs to the kitchen to get myself some aspirin.
I shouldn't have had too much alcohol last night
“Good morning Nana.” I greeted tiredly as I walked into the kitchen.
“Good morning Larissa.” Linda, my nanny responded as she turned to face me. “How do you feel this morning?”
Linda has been my nanny since I was a child. She took care of me because my mother was a career woman and she always put her work over her children. She is practically my mom.
“Bad Nana. So fuxking bad.” I groaned in pain as I held my head in my hand. “I do not feel good. Everything hurts so fvckin’ bad. My head feels like someone is hitting it with a freakin’ hammer and my entire body hurts, like I was involved in some man labor or something last night.”
“Of course. That is what you get for going against your mom and going to some club.” Linda retorted. “You should not have gone out last night Larissa.”
“Oh come on Linda. Please don’t scold me right now.” I whined
I made my way past her then walked to the refrigerator and brought out a bottle of water then gulped it down in less than a second.
I opened all the wardrobe in the kitchen to find something I could take to stop my head from banging but did not find anything after opening all the wardrobe in the kitchen. There as nothing I could take to relieve myself.
“Oh come on!” I sighed in slight frustration and turned to face Linda then asked, “Is there really nothing I can take for my headache. I am in so much pain right now nana. Please help me.” I tugged on her arm as I whined.
She rolled her eyes at me slightly before letting out a small sigh, “There is some in your mom’s bedroom. I’m going to go get it for you.”
I flashed a small smile then gave her a kiss on the cheeks.
“First of all, you need to go up to your bedroom and take a very long bath to get rid of the alcohol Larissa and then come downstairs for breakfast.” She said as she scrunched her nose.
“I’m going to go take my bath immediately but would not be coming downstairs to have breakfast. I’ll have breakfast in my bedroom instead.”
“Alright then. I am going to bring your food and the pills up to your bedroom.”
“Thanks nana.” I said with a wide smile then watched her make her way out of the kitchen.
“Good morning Ms.Diana.” Linda greeted my mom as she walked past her.
“f**k!” I cursed under my breath.
I rolled my eyes slightly and turned around as she made her way up to me.
“Larissa Trevino!” She called with authority.
I turned around to face her then crossed my arms across my chest and stared at her tiredly.
“Do you want to tell me why you were not in your bedroom night or do I need to put the pieces together myself?” She commanded.
Not right now, please.
