JAXTON’s POV…
Chris arrived at my apartment exactly eight pm to pick me up to some party in downtown Manhattan. He said something about an art exhibition party he was invited to by Dave, on of our buddies, so we left together. I didn’t bother trying to talk myself out of going because it was the weekend and I could really use a night out. And also, I’m sure there would be lots of pretty ladies to flirt with. Who knows, I might get to take one home tonight and get laid.
I put on a black khaki with simple white shirt with no tie, and a dinner jacket then made my way down to the parking garage to meet Christian.
We arrived at the parking garage and he packed in front of the loft and then we made our way to the front door where Dave and Liam—our buddies from college— were waiting for us.
