Going Home
Bella’s POV
I look in the mirror and sigh. I don’t want to go back to to that stupid small town. I haven’t been back since I graduated high school 4years ago. I brush my wet long brown hair. I am not that shy little girl anymore. I am Isabella Halliwell, an extremely powerful witch, strong independent women.
I put on some light purple eyeshadow to enhance the green in my hazel eyes and wing some eyes liner. Wing it like I do everything in my life. I climb into my jeep and say good bye to DC. I don’t know if I will be back. My grandma died a few weeks ago and she left me the family home in her will. I guess I could always open that Bakery Iv always wanted too. Put that pastry chef degree to some good use. I chuckle to myself.
After several hours I arrive at the family home. It’s been in my family for almost 300 years. I grab my bags out of the car and head inside. With a snap of my fingers I unpack and un shrink my belongings. This house brings back so many memories. My parents died when I was 2 from witch hunters and my grandma raised me. I enter the kitchen and remember my grandma showing me how to make potions and food in here. I open and empty fridge. I need to go to the store and buy food for this house. I hope no one recognizes me.
I arrive at the store and start my shopping trip. I pass a group of werewolf’s arguing in the meat section about what to cook. I chuckle to myself. Stupid wolfs. I knew there was a pack in town but since I wasn’t one I didn’t know who was in it or cared. I quickly finish shopping and check out.
Man werewolf’s are such creepers. One of them kept staring at me like I was something to eat. I head home to unload my car. I see the woods sprawled behind the house and decide to go for a walk in the woods. I used to play in here as a child.
I walk down the path way to my favorite spot. It’s a small clearing with surrounded by ancient trees. This is where I used to come to practice my magic. I sit on the ground and close my eyes feeling the ancient energy flow through me.
A twig snapping brings me out of my trance. I see a big black wolf with bright blue eyes emerge from the trees. There is a slightly smaller brown wolf with yellow eyes with him and a gray wolf with brown eyes. They stop and stare at me. I can tell the are werewolf’s by the size.
I look around and stand up. The black wolf walks forward. Something about his eyes is familiar. Omg this is the guy from the store. His eyes are mesmerizing. I feel a pull to him and I realize why. No I can not be mated to a werewolf. Most witches are mated to vampires or demons. Werewolf’s are not unheard of as a witches mate but not as common.
Him and his friends walk behind a tree and shifts back to a men. Thank god they had clothes somewhere around here. If you look around the forest you can find random shorts and shirts in tree wholes. I stand tall and unwavering.
“Hi, I saw you at the store. My name is Aiden Black. This is my friend Jace and my friend Gabe. What’s your name” the man Aiden says.
“I’m Bella Halliwell”
“Bella... what a beautiful name.”
“Well it was nice to meet you Aiden, Jace and Gabe but I’m going to get going.”
I start to walk off back down the path to my home. I wonder if these wolfs now they are on my land.
“Wait! Can I talk to you?”
I turn around and look at him. I just want to ignore in but I know the stupid wolf won’t leave me alone now that he knows I’m his mate.
“What do you want to talk about?”
“Well your not a werewolf I can tell by your smell and your not scared of us. Your not human. What you were?”
“Why do you need to know wolf boy. What I am is my business.” I say flipping around and heading back down the path.
“I want to know because your my mate.” He says with a growl.
Oh he did not just growl at me. This wolf is getting on my nervous.
“First of all. Do not growl at me. Secondly learn to speak to women. Thirdly get off my land before I make you.” I say turning to walk away.
Aidens POV
We are having a cook out for the pack tonight. I am waiting for my Bata and best friend Jace to finish saying good bye to his mate Alice. I am 25 and haven’t found my mate yet. Most find there mate at 16 when we shift.
We arrive at the store. We are in the meat section when the smell of Sage and chocolate hit me. Suddenly Ace is screaming in my head MATE! What! Our mate is here! I start looking around and see the most beautiful women I have ever seen walk to the check out chuckling. She has long brown hair that reaches her perfectly round a*s. She has plump pink lips and green hazel eyes.
“What is it man?” Jace says nudging me.
“I just saw my mate.”
“Wait you found our Luna?” Gabe says with joy.
“She just check out and left. I need to fallow her!” I run out of the store and see her putting her groceries in a 2018 jeep. She looks back at me a climbs in her car and drives away.
“We will find her again. Don’t worry.” Jace says
I hope so.
