My Worst and Best day

Maxines POV
The sound of beeping, woke Maxine up. As she tried to open her eyes she felt that the worlds weight was put upon her eyelids. She tried again gaining a little sight, it was dark in the room and it was so foreign to her that she had to have a double take on what was happening and where she was.
Suddenly she noticed the tingles and shocks she was getting through her right hand, as she looked down she saw that her fingers were tangled with someone elses. The sleeping figure beside her hadn´t noticed that she had awoken and was sleeping half-laying on the side of her bed.
To not disturbe him she quietly tried to pry her fingers from his grasp but as she did so he woke up startled only to see her awake and looking straight at him.
"Finally! You are awake!" Zack said happily getting up and sitting on the side of the bed he was just laying on.
"I´m sorry to have bothered you and awoken you," said Maxine with eyes now downcast," I tried not to wake you up."
"What are you talking about, I have been waiting for you to wake up since we brought you to our pack!" Zack said looking cheerfully into her green eyes.
Suddenly Maxine became truely aware of her surroundings, shuddering in fear, "I have to go back the Alpha will not be happy if I am not there to make dinner!"
"Don´t worry about that Alpha, my father has put him in his place and taken this situation to the council, there will be no more problems with him."
Maxine didn´t know why but she relaxed as he was saying those words to her. Suddenly the door to the hospital room opened an in came Damon and David with and overnight bag for Zack and two plates of food.
"Finally she woke up! I told you she wasn´t going to take long, pay up! You lost!" Damon said to David with a huge shiteating grin that made David scoff and hand over $20 bucks.
"Man, couldn´t you have slept at least another week Luna? I wouldn´t have had to pay this bastard!" David said earning himself a huge growl from Zack as he finished his last words. "Sorry, I didn´t mean it that way.....I´m Glad you´re awake.." he finally said backing into a corner, away from Maxine and Zack by the bed.
Turning back to his mate Zack asked the question that had had him on edge all day long," What happened today? And now tell me everything."
"It all happened after I bumped into someone in the hallway...this morning." Maxine started as Zack chuckled. "That was me..." he said pointing to himself.
"Well after I got up I tried to run to my class...but..."
FLASHBACK
After colliding with the wall that smelled like leather and chocolate, Maxine ran for her first class practically colliding with the one person who she didn´t want to see this early in the morning, the future Alpha Reagan, Becky's older brother and his groupies, the Beta Matt and Gamma Brett.
"Look what we have here boys!" Said Reagan, smirking and pointing at Maxine on the floor picking up her books once again.
"I´m Sorry Alpha, I will go to Class and leave you alone," Maxine Said.
"Now that just won´t do, what should I do now that you have just made my day the best it could be by placing yourself in my claws?" he asked still smirking evilly.
"I´m sorry Alpha, please let me go and I will not bother you," she said trembling in fear of what was to come.
Her having been dealt with the worst hand in life didn´t seem to be enough for the Alpha to be and his crew, he was going to make sure that she had the worst kind of life ever.
"What did you think that asking politely I was going to let you go?" He mockingly asked Maxine as a smirk grazed his evil lips.
"Sorry Alpha..." was all she was able to say before the first blow came to her face knocking her down on the ground followed by a series of punches and kicks by him, his beta and gamma.
When they were satisfied with the propinated beating they walked off laughing.
END FLASHBACK
"That's what happened" she stated looking down as Zack, Damon and David were livid with rage at the horrid tale they had just heard.
Zack shot up from his seated position and growled loudly scarring Maxine looking up at him with blurry eyes from unshed tears that had formed during her story telling.
Zack feeling the uneasiness of his mate looked back at her, coming to her side embracing her inhaling her scent to calm him and his wolf down.
"I think we should stay a few more days in this college, what do you say guys?" Zack asked his beta and gamma giving an evil grin that said everything.
"I think it would be great educational services rendered, I say its a go." Damon said giving a tight smirk Davids way.
"Absolutely, undoubtable. Even I am up for some high end classes." David said raising himself from the chair where he sat not just a few minutes before.
"Please don´t tell them I told you they will hurt me more" she said with pleading eyes looking at Zack.
"Don´t worry Babe, they won´t know anything. We are just going to give some education on how to treat women, and packmembers in general." Zack said holding Maxine tighter that before.

Zacks´ POV
I couldn´t believe what I had just heard that the supposed future Alpha of that damn pack had laid his filthy hands on my mate and I hadn´t noticed until I found her in a pool of her own blood.
I was beside myself with rage.
Maxine was now asleep in her hospital bed resting from the damn beatings she had recieved.
"Well guys what do you think? Should we make a plan or take opportunity as it comes along?" I asked as I faced my two best friends.
"I think revenge is best served on a chilled platter", said David.
