It had been three days since Emily hadn’t contacted Oliver at all. She had occasionally sent him replies but he hadn’t been adamant about contacting her either. Did he not sense that she was upset over something?
For a moment, Emily had felt like calling him and giving him a piece of her mind, but then she had thought about if he would understand? This was a casual thing for him to be friends with females who he had slept with in the past and would Emily seem desperate if she asked him to let go of those friendships? A logical thing would be to ask him first, but she was afraid to seem insecure and clingy.
She could swear she had tried her best to be optimistic and not think about what could go wrong in their relationship, but the things that were happening only made her think otherwise.
