CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE My heart hammers in my chest, the sound loud in the stillness of the mountain night. The rogue wolves' howls slice through the silence, a constant reminder they’re too close for comfort. Henry's blue eyes meet mine, reflecting back the moonlight and the urgency of our situation.
