Wolftopia
Giant General Sherman Tree's were everywhere in Wolftopia. Homes had been built into and on the tops of trees these huge trees. Makeshift bridges ran midway up the trees. Animal skin provided privacy from the outside world. Wolftopia stretched on for miles. It was a gated Kingdom. The ruler was King Jace of The Majestic Pack. His pack was the wealthiest and largest. Boasting more than one hundred members. Other packs wanted to be a part of his. His pack was feared. He rules the land with an iron fist. He could care less about the other packs. He was young only twenty-two. The pleasure was at his disposal. Money, all the mates he desired. Female wolves threw themselves at him. He at times hated leaving the mansion. Jace finally had a moment to himself. He stood on the balcony overlooking wolftopia. His family was currently pressuring him to marry. He felt he was too young to marry. And was having fun. In the distance riding toward, the mansion. He saw his beta and several of his members. The commoners were quickly moving aside. As the horses galloped at full speed down the. Jace wondered what the emergency was. Ten minutes later, he heard the elevator doors opening in his room. Walking back inside. He closed the double doors behind him. Emerging from the elevator. his best friend and beta Roman. Roman strode into his suit. Where's the fire Jace asked him? Roman chuckled. I got some good news and some bad news. What is it bro Jace asked? We found out the wolf that stole your possessions. Speak only if you speak facts. Jace said in a commanding voice. "Do you know of the Royal Bloods Pack?" Roman asked. "I do." Lord Chase. He is the one who has stolen from you. My sources tell me. But that he is long gone. He ran off and left his family. " And where does his family reside? Jace asked. The outskirts in a place called Dark Fortress. Yes, I know of the place which you speak of. Jace thought for a moment. Assemble the tribe pack, and tell them to keep it hushed. We ride at dusk. Roman started to head for the elevator. Oh and make sure Elisa is present. Jace commanded. Yes, my lord alpha. He quickly left to assemble them. The tribe pack was a branch of the Majestic Pack. They were a small band of wolves. Specially trained for hunting, war, and taking down enemies. Just before dusk, Jace met with the Tribe Pack and Elisa. To inform them of what was to transpire. Elisa was Jace's cousin and a very powerful which. She'd be casting a spell for him. Jace, Roman, Elisa, and the Tribe would drive so far. Abandon the horse and shift. Going stealth for an ambush attack. The horses they rode were dark in color. For them to blend in with their surroundings. Everyone was ready. Time to move! Jace ordered. The band of wolves rode in sync with each other. Hooves pounded the path leading toward Dark Fortress. It would take half an hour to reach their first destination. And another twenty to reach the Royal Blood's mansion. In all, it was forty of them. Owls hooted, a little fox family ran across their path. Bats wings could be heard overhead. In their human form. They were almost twice the size of the average man. And their strength was ten times that. They approached their first destination. Jace held up a fist for everyone to stop. They dismounted about a mile away and shifted. Two of them would stay behind, and guard the horses and carriage. Jace and the rest took off on foot. They stood behind trees scoping out the place. Everyone seemed to be still up. Lights lite up the place. Lady Angel is a 19-year-old she-wolf. Her parents are Earl and Countess of Dark Fortress. She had just finished dinner with them. She headed up to her room. This was her favorite part of the day. Shutting out the rest of the world. Life was so hectic. Always a social event, a charity, a ball and so on. Leaning against the door, she sighed. Her space was the only thing she had a say in. Angel was a girly girl. Her room was decorated with pink silk and white lace. A canopy bed is set near the window. Stuff animals were arranged largest in back. To the smallest in front. A desk set near a built-in bookshelf. That took up a whole wall. Angel loved to read. Macbeth, Shakesphere, also loved literature. Anything she could get her hands on. That challenged her views or ways of thinking. She pushed off the door. And made her way over to her balcony. She stepped outside for some fresh air. The night air was cool and a little brisk. She loved it. It seemed to open up her senses. Looking up, she swears she could see every star in the sky. There were barely in lights to disturb the view. And the moon was full and look near enough to touch. She stood there for the longest moment looking up. Elias? Yes my lord. "Come." He said as he pointed near himself. She walked over to Jace. You're up. She nodded. Closing her eyes. She placed two fingers on her right hand against her temple. And with the left, she reached out toward the mansion. Ancestors of our past, lend me your strength. Steal from those who have stolen from us. Let not their change affect us. The wind picked up. And leaves rustled around them. Before quickly dying down. Elisa looked over at him. "It's done, she said." Jace looked up and saw a breathtaking creature on the balcony. Let's move, he commanded. Angel suddenly felt weak. She turned toward the doors and stumbled through them. She grabbed for her vanity, to steady herself. Her fingers tips brushed against something and she blacked out. Angel was startled awake. Heart racing, she wasn't sure what happened. She was lying on the floor. It was utter chaos, outside her room. Her breath came out in short pants and her head was throbbing. She slowly got to her knees. Suddenly she heard her mom scream. She bolted straight up onto her feet. But her legs gave out. Mom! She called out weakly. She continued to pant. Deciding to crawl, because her legs refused to support her. She again heard screaming and crashing in the distance. Angel set back on her feet. Heart thudding in het ears. Screams and cries seemed to be coming from everywhere. She couldn't think. She still felt so weak. Focusing on what little energy she had. Angel hunched forward, waiting to shift. Nothing. Something was wrong. She began to panic. Boom! A loud thud against her bedroom door. She fell backward away from it. Boom another one. But this time, it made a cracking noise. Eyes growing wide. She quickly scanned the room for a hiding place. Her bed was the closes thing. She thinks she could make it. Crawling as fast as she could, she made it with time to spare. Another thud and the door splintered. Wood chips rained down everywhere. Letting out a yelp, she quickly covered her mouth. She watched in horror. As huge paws made their way across her floor. Holding her breath, she moved further back into the shadows. Suddenly it lodged for the open doors that lead to the balcony. Angel waited a few minutes and sighed with relief. After the paws disappeared out of sight. She noticed it had grown quite outside her room. Not being able to stand it anymore, she peeked her head out. Not a good idea. The wolf was right there. Her eyes grew wide once more. The beast pushed aside the bed as though it weighed nothing. He stood there staring at her, with green glowing eyes. She tried crawling backward away from it. But was still too weak. Claws clicked on the wooden floor as it slowly approached. It snarled bearing its large sharp teeth. As it stood on its hind legs. It extended a large charcoal grey paw toward her. She let out an ear-piercing scream.
