Chapter 4

Once Drey and Jace made it to Travis, Jace drove them a bit far off the road into the wooded area. Jace came to a nice stop by some tall trees. Drey stepped out and stretched. For some reason she felt as if she was lighter. "Holy s**t!" she heard Jace shout.

"What happe-" Drey stopped when she turned and saw she was floating just a bit above Jace. She examined herself to see that she was legit floating. FLOATING! Her body looked like it was becoming translucent. She felt her self glide and move. She began flailing her arms around, trying to get her balance. She didnt notice she was floating right toward a huge tree.

"Yo! Ay yo Drey look out bruh!" Jace shouted, running, trying to catch up to the girl. Drey turned but it was too late. "OH s**t!" she exclaimed as she closed her eyes and braced herself. Surprisingly, she didn't feel anything. She opened her eyes and saw she was completely translucent. She felt something inside her flow as she watched her body change from translucent to pitch black. She levitated high and flew around in the sky before phasing into the ground. Jace was stone shocked. All he could do was watch his best friend soar through the sky, then phase through the ground. He didnt know whether he was more shocked than amazed. Just chalking it up to both.

"Boo" Drey whispered in his ear, causing him to jump. He turned around to see Drey's pitch black body phase back into her normal self. The girl slowly set down on the ground, laughing at her friend.

"This is gonna be fun", she quips, analyzing her body. Jace just shook his head and laughed. The two spent the rest of the day just discovering more and more about Drey's abilities. Drey also managed to get the hang up her powers to a degree. By the time they realized what time it was, the sun had already set. The two decided to head to Jace's crib and smoke. As they got to his car, a rock flew past them. They turned around to see Toni and 4 other masked people behind her.

"Yo fuckboy!" Toni yelled out. Drey groaned as she took in the group infront of her. "Dude did you seriously stalk my ass out here?" She exclaimed.

"Call it what you want, stay your ass away from Ria" She said, pointing a finger at Drey.

"What the f**k you gon do?" She challenged. Toni signaled her people to advance as she walked away. "f**k this b***h up" she commanded. She walked off as her people advanced on Drey and Jace. Drey and Jace took a step back as they advanced on them. One leapt forward and punched Drey square in the jaw, causing her to stagger back, holding her jaw. She quickly held her arms out to block off the pummeling blows. Jace ran to help, but ended up colliding with one of the guys in the group. Drey felt a sudden aura pulsating around her.

What the hell are you doing?! Destroy these pathetic pieces of shits!

I'm tryin not to get pummeled here you f**k!

Dig deep. Stop fighting it. Lets show these humans what WE can do!

Creepy let out a maniacal laugh then out of nowhere Drey felt like this powerful pulse run through her veins and ignite her like a black fire. She let out this black-looking lightning that flew everywhere, sending sparks in all directions, frying the nearest lighting post in the area. Drey let out a demonic scream as she moved bolts of lightning at each lamp, knocking them out. The darkness seemed to fuel Drey as she looked around her. She felt it envelope every inch of her body. She felt the dark vortex swirl and pulse around every part of her body. For some weird reason....it felt good rreeeeaaaalllllll gooooooddd.

SEE? Creepy piped up. This is the strength of OUR power!

Drey let out a toothy demonic snicker. "Show time!" she said before phasing into the darkness.

"Split up! Get the hell outta here, this s**t aint wort-" the girl's voice was cut off as she was pulled into the shadows. The others started screaming as they were pulled into the shadows, one by one. Drey swung them around and sent them flying into the ocean. Jace ran back to the car, frantically looking Drey. "Drey" he screamed out loud.

"Stop all that damn yelling nigga!" She snipped in her demonic voice. You can still hear the annoyance in her voice. She was leaning on the door of her car, trying to catch her breath, as she tried to control her changes.

C'mon Drey lets finish them off! Creepy squealed. Drey heard her in every part of her head. She started gripping her head in agony as she tried to regain control.

"Creepy chill out they're done!" She reasoned.

"No I want to watch them drown! I wanna-" She ranted.

"I said chill the f**k out!!" She grunted as she slammed her head against the car window. Jace winced as Drey's head ricocheted off the hood of the car.

"Oooh " Jace winced even harder as Drey hit the floor. Drey felt her concious fading.

Spoil sport, Creepy grumbled groggily.

"f**k off" Drey groggilly snipped before fading to black.
