Chapter 3

1096 Words
The first three classes were a blur for Drey. Well, of course, who else would be able to really pay attention to a damn lesson after all that has happened. Hell not only that, this girl...Ria wont leave her mind. She kept thinking of her cute, shy smile. The way she tucked her hair behind her ear. Yeah she just met the girl...but for some reason she just couldn't get her out of her head. She's been with mad different girls but no one got stuck in her head like this. It intrigued her and shook her at the same time. She was shaken from her thoughts as the lunch bell rang. Drey collected her stuff and shuffled past the other students and down the hallway to the lunch room. As she was turning the corner to the lunch room, she noticed Ria having some choice words with another girl. Compared to Ria, the other girl looked more masculine than her and Drey put together. Drey was pretty studish herself, but this girl was lokey oozing testosterone. "What's your issue Ria, why do you always gotta make a big deal about things?" She yelled, getting in Ria's face. Drey hid out of place to listen in on what's going on. Surprisingly, her hearing was better than she thought it was. "Toni, how do you expect me not to make a big deal? Not only was some other girl all over you but you weren't even trying to push her back, like, the f**k? To make it worse, it's on Snapchat! I'm tired of you making a fool of me when you don't even give two shits!" Ria yelled back. She didnt even want to hear what she had to say. She was tired of dealing with her bullshit. She went to brush past her but Toni wasn't having it. Before she could walk off, Toni grabbed her by her arm and pulled her back to her. As Ria went to fight back, she felt a figure separate them and push Toni away. She righted herself to see Drey and Toni going at it. Drey was yoking Toni up by the front of her shirt and throwing her to the ground, with Toni getting back up in her face. "The f**k is you grabbing her up like that?" Drey yelled. "The f**k is good with you get your ass outta here!" "The f**k you gon do bout it my nigga. I wanna see you do that s**t to me bro", Drey barked, pushing at Toni. Jace luckily came up to meet Drey in time to see the two girls going at it. Aw s**t, he thought. He and Ria ran up to them, breaking the two apart. Ria held Drey back while Jace struggled with Toni. "You f*****g b***h, I knew you was cheating on me!" She screamed as she fought against Jace. Ria stopped Drey from launching back at the other girl. "You knew I was cheating? You've been out here f*****g around over me and you knew I WAS CHEATING? Go f**k yourself Toni you're f*****g crazy and I'm not dealing with your ass anymore!" With that said, she took Drey's hand and led her down the other hallway, all while ignoring her exe's screams and curses. As they rounded a corner away from the commotion, Ria finally broke down and started crying. She slid down the wall and just cried into her lap. Drey slid down next to her and wrapped her arm around her. She didn't understand how she got to the girls so fast, or why she even did it in the first place. It was legit none of her business! She didn't even know her like that! And yet...all she wants to do is wipe her pain away. Oh god Drey you're catching feelings, she thought. "Yup totally p***y whipped. Geez I thought you had a backbone" Annnnddd Creepy's back "Creepy?" Yup. Your name is Creepy. Cuz your ass randomly pops ups and its creepy as fuck "Wow you're a d**k. I'm impressed" Tuh I bet now quiet! The voice did piped up again, thank god. Drey felt Ria snuggled in close to her. She made the instinct to hold her closer. Hell she needed the comfort. "Wanna talk about it?" "Not really how I wanted our second conversation to go" She quipped from Drey's shoulder, causing the girls to laugh. "It's all good. I've had weirder interactions" she quipped, causing the girl to laugh again. The two spent the last class just sitting and talking, learning more about each other. They learned they both had love for creativity. Drey was into music and screenwriting and Ria was a designer in fashion and art. They both loved anime and had similar tastes in music. The more they learned about each other, the closer they got. They naturally enjoyed each others company. Like it was a sense of peace neither one understood. Drey's phone blared to life with Collateral Damage playing. She pulled back from Ria and reached in her pocket for her phone. She pulled it out to see Jace calling her. She picked up and put her phone to her ear. "Yeah bro, you good?" "I'm gucci bro. Where'd your ass disappeared to?" "Had to make sure Ria was good" "Heard you bro. Where you at tho, we gotta start heading out remember?" s**t i totally forgot we were supposed to go to Travis. Damn I really don't leave her hanging though, Drey thought to herself. Hell she didn't really wanna leave Ria alone, period. Ria sat up and wiped her eyes while clearing her throat, regaining her composure. "I gotta get going anyway. I like to get started on my work. Lets hang out this weekend. Without the whole dramatic ex-girlfriend bullshit" Drey raised her eyes at that. "Ex-girlfriend?" Ria shrugged her shoulders sadly. "It's time I do for me. I put myself through a lot of bullshit to make that girl happy. I would like to receive what-" "You're giving out. I get it. I'm the same way. Unfortunately, I have no one to really treat right, so yeah", Drey finished honestly. Ria smiled at that. "We'll see. Later Drey!" She yelled, quickly turning to leave. Drey blinked blankly before Jace piped up in from the phone. "Bro stop staring and bring your ass on!" Drey snapped out of it and growled at her phone. She hung up without giving him a reply and got up. f*****g d**k, she thought as she ran off to meet Jace.
