" Hey love long day at work?" said Tavias. This man knew me like the back of his hand. I'm still in shock that he didn't know that I was lying straight to his face yesterday. Maybe I was getting good at hiding secrets now. It used to be a time where I couldn't hold anything from him. Anything I knew he knew within minutes. That's just how close we were. Sitting here now even in his presence I felt so distant from him. I felt closer to our fur baby, Ginger. I wonder if sometimes he felt the same way.
