Introduction

“ Clear boss! Clear pa sa mineral water.” someone said. We all laugh together. He’s so funny.

“ Maureen right? Do u has an boyfriend daw ba? My kaibigan here is asking.” Mark said.

“ Tama ba english ko? Gago ang hirap naman neto pre, ikaw na nga kumausap ikaw tong lalandi e.” Mark said while pushing a guy beside him.

“ Hi, I’m Leo nga pala. May boyfriend ka na ba? Kung wala then nahanap mo na yung para sayo.” He said with a playful voice.

Halatang playboy.

“Yieeeeeeeeeeeeeee eneve.” Everyone is shouting.

“ tang*** SANA OL.” someone shouted.

“ Gago bad magmura” Abby said.

They are all so loud. Puno ng tawanan. I guess mapapakinggan na voices namin sa hallway. They keep on teasing me with Leo.

“ Wala akong boyfriend.” I said

“ Yon naman pre may pagasa pa, ligawa-” I cut him off.

“ But I’m not interested, I’m not planning to have one sorry.” I added with a smile.

“ Omsim pare busted ka agad di pa nanliligaw.” Mark said. Leo’s friend.

“ Pighati, poot, dalamhati, Lumbay, pagsisisi, dangis, sakit, hinagpis, lungkot OUCH PAIN” pabirong sabi ni Lorenz. Another friend of Leo.

“ Pasensya ka na ha, eto lang kasi ako e. Sana hindi na lang ako pinanganak diba? Bat pa ba ko nabuhay. Okay lang naman sanay na ko hehe. Sorry ah eto lang ako e.” Leo jokingly said while imitating a sad look.

“ Sadboi yarn?” I said.

Everyone is laughing, We all feel like dying because of this trio Leo, Mark and Lorenz. Their humor is on another level, sana matuto si Jake sa kanila.

Suddenly the door opened and our Teacher is finally here na.

Dali-daling tumayo ang lahat at inayos ang mga silyang nakapalibot sa akin. Tahimik ang lahat hanggang sa magsalita si Ma’am.

“ Goodmorning class. How’s your first day?” Mrs. Razon said.

“ Goodmorning Ma’am, Nice to meet you” Everyone responded.

“ Do you know each other na ba? You need to prepare for a little introduction later mga anak. For y’all to be able to know each other. A short introduction is okay no need to make it so long. Wala tayo sa MMK.” Mrs. Razon said.

Thankfully our Teacher is kind. She speaks so well and calmly.

“ I forgot to introduce myself. Hi class my name is Riza M. Razon and I will be your Biochem teacher. I am teaching here in UST for about 27 years already. Todays activity will be the Orientation for the freshman which is you guys.” Mrs. Razon added.

“ I’m tasked to introduce you to the Freshman’s tradition here in UST. This tradition is quite famous so I guess you have an idea na about it. I will also tell you the history and later on show you the facilities related to your chosen field.” Mrs. Razon said.

Everyone is quietly listening to Mrs. Razon. Ang maingay na paligid kanina ngayon ay sobrang tahimik na. Mrs Razon said na before the orientation start we need to introduce our self first.

“ Let’s start here from this row.” Mrs. Razon said habang nakaturo sa hilera na kinauupuan ko.

*Agad na tumayo si abby at nagpakilala.

“ Hello everyone my name is Sabrina but you can call me Sab or Abby for short. I choose this school because it has been my dream school since I was in high school. I hope na makilala at makaclose ko kayo isa-isa.” Nakangiting sabi ni abby.

Patuloy ang pagpapakilala ng aking mga kaklase na nasa row namin. Isa na lang at ako na ang susunod na magpapakilala. Eto na naman at pinagpapawisan na naman ang aking mga kamay.

Turn ko na kaya’t agad akong tumayo at pumunta sa harapan.

“ Hello everyone my name is Reign Maureen Zamora De Leon, Mau for short. 19 years old. I love to read books and write songs-”someone cut me off.

“ I LOVE YOU TOO!!” sigaw ni Leo

Oh no its him again. I face palm myself.

“ Pst, Leo. What do you think your doing? Stop interrupting.” Mrs. Razon stopped Leo.

* Everyone laughed. *

“ Pshhh, continue Maureen.” She said.

“ As I was saying i love to read books and write songs. I choose UST because i feel like I will find myself here and I will discover something about me, something special. And my Mom used to study here. I am looking forward to get close to you all. I might look mataray outside but you can talk to me anytime. Di ako nangangagat..” Pabiro kong sabi.

“ Thank you Maureen, next.” Mrs. Razon said after my introduction.

Nagpatuloy ang pagpapakilala ng bawat estudyante sa room hanggang sa makatapos na sa pinaka huling magaaral.

“ Eto na ba ang lahat? Hindi bat parang kulang kayo ng isang baba-” napatigil si Ma’am ng may biglang nagbukas ng pinto.

May pumasok na isang babae.

“ Sorry Ma’am I’m late.”
